Meet MK One: It took 200+ people from 80+ cities working together over 4.5 years to build technologies which could provide cleaner air to 3Bn+ people for costs less than $0.01/person/day! Our baby is now taller than me! This was shot on an iPhone, Praan will post more pics!
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

@harnidhish@akhi_agarwal I’m still in shock. We had a call scheduled for tomorrow. He was so supportive for everything Praan and i were doing. Wanted to fly down to Mumbai and spend days to build AI systems so that my life got easier. It was an honour and learned so much.
My husband and I are honored and thrilled to participate in the Invest America program and gift a share of our SpaceX stock to a Trump Account for each of more than two million children across our great nation.
Every American child under 18 can benefit from having a Trump Account, but our gift specifically goes to the Accounts of children (ages 11-17) that live in areas with lower average household incomes with a bit more emphasis for those that live near our central Texas home.
We have been fortunate in our careers and hope this gift encourages the next generation to continue the journey of enabling humanity to live and fly amongst the stars.
A huge thanks to all that worked to bring this incredible program to life.
one of the biggest determinants of success is not "intelligence" or money, it's "seriousness"
serious people move with intent and competence and they have their eyes zero'd in on the Most Important Thing™
within moments of meeting someone you can tell if they have it or not
The district of Darjeeling alone has 1.8m people. 3x the size of Cabo Verde.
How can India not produce a football team that can even qualify for the World Cup is beyond me.
@sarah_cone@duncancampbell@packyM@Swervair Praan' sanctuary does it all! CO2, ultrafines, microbes, VOCs, temperate and moisture, pressure all layered with orchesration!
It turns out, my house has been making me dumb(er). Sorry about that. Fixing it now.
After I saw Lenny's tweet a month or so ago, I did a home health assessment and here’s what I found:
- High CO2 levels (~1,000 ppm) due to lack of ventilation. Studies correlate CO2 at this level with impaired cognitive function. Fix is simply opening windows.
- High levels of small particulate matter (PM0.3 - PM1.0) in the home compared to outside. Air purifiers are the move here.
- LEDs impacting sleep. We swapped out bedroom LEDs for incandescents.
- We had WiFi Access repeaters throughout the house. RF levels were high. Still learning about EMF effects but out of precaution took out the repeaters next to where we spend a lot of time (e.g. the kitchen).
- Luckily, very low levels of mold!
🚨🐅⛵️HIRING - INDIA'S BEST WRITERS
For the last six years, our mission at Tigerfeathers has been to build a home for the most thoughtful writing and storytelling from India's tech ecosystem.
Today this is just one piece of a larger media and investing puzzle that'll be the first of its kind on the Subcontinent.
We have a bunch of awesome projects lined up for the next 12-18 months that includes ramping up the output on our existing channels (Tigerfeathers, Runtime, Next Up India); launching new IPs; expanding IRL; and creating a media ecosystem that justifies and amplifies the work of the most ambitious companies of our time.
The throughline that cuts across everything we do is Quality - that's it. Every time we hit publish we want to make sure that it counts, that we earn people's attention, and that we send waves of serendipity towards the people that trust us with their stories.
With that being said...
We're expanding the team - and looking to hire India's most cracked researchers, editors, writers and storytellers (ideally these roles should fit into one person).
Specifically, we're looking for:
- delusions of grandeur
- a relentless curiosity and optimism
- a visceral irritation with sub-par and sloppy work
- an ability to simultaneously teach and entertain (via your writing)
- a love of rabbit holes (and burrowing deep)
- an unreasonable commitment to making exceptional things (i.e. a love of the game)
- an assortment of weird interests across Indian tech, history, art, capitalism, culture, and everything in between.
You will work on some of the most exciting pieces and profiles about individuals, ideas and ventures that will define 21st century India; and you will work alongside people that count themselves as the best in the world at what they do. Also, the vibes in the group chat are immaculate.
If any of the above sounds like you, fill in the Google Form (linked below) and we'll get back to you asap.
PS: Several of our friends at India's best deep tech startups and funds are also looking to fill similar roles, so if we like your work but it turns out you're not the right fit for us, we'll do our best to find you another awesome home for your talents.
Thank you for having me at Starbase @SpaceX. Especially on IPO day. The pace of progress and engineering is electric and a testament to the scale of human ambition.
If you're NOT in Bangalore and working on the public good on any of our favorite problem areas, come to Bangerlore
We at @_lagrangepoint will help with flights and accommodation, and help you meet fellow practitioners. Just DM me!
- urban quality of life / civic tech
- food toxicity
- deep tech talent
If you know someone that fits, send them my way, and I will gift you some really nice socks
The Age of AI demands planetary-scale Carbon Dioxide removal.
@AltCarbonIndia is using volcanic rock dust to geochemically pull carbon out of the atmosphere — and we just proved it works at scale. The world's largest issuance of carbon credits through Enhanced Rock Weathering.
~10,000 tonnes of CO₂ removed. Enough to offset a small AI data centre.
India has a history of scientific breakthroughs that stun the world — across medicine, space exploration, energy, & financial inclusion.🇮🇳
Climate Change is the most significant existential threat to our species. It demands Himalayan Ambitions.
We're moving mountains to make that happen. Literally.
