So I tested DeepSeek V4.1 Flash on real tasks. 2 repos, 105 hidden bugs, find and fix what you can.
Opus 5 (max): 27
Grok 4.6 (max): 27
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (max): 24
GPT-5.6 Luna (xhigh): 23
Opus 5 (high): 21
A really strong model for everyday tasks. And look at the cost:
Opus 5 (max): $51.33
Grok 4.6 (max): $16.96
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (max): $1.80
GPT-5.6 Luna (xhigh): $2.50
Opus 5 (high): $38.77
It's at the Pareto frontier.
Other effort levels (high) and extra tests for DeepSeek V4 Pro dropping every hour in this thread 🧵
JUST IN: 4,000 Bitcoin worth $320 million withdrawn following Liquid Network hack.
The hacker is now communicating with network maintainers through on-chain Bitcoin transactions & intends to return the $BTC after the vulnerability is fixed.
Everyone's watching BRICS summits and tariff wars for signs of de-dollarization.
Meanwhile, Standard Bank — Africa's largest — just integrated with China's CIPS for direct yuan settlements. Angola's joining too. And Ant International partnered with MTN to expand mobile lending across the continent starting this quarter.
De-dollarization isn't a summit declaration. It's plumbing. And China is laying pipes across Africa while the West debates communiqués.
What happens when the payment rails are already built before anyone in Washington writes a policy response?

@teortaxesTex Too simplistic view. 35% RMB appreciation will also result in lower input cost. Overall total cost of car will be lower as a result. Then can sell it lower price.
When we get a pullback, the first one will be brutal. Everyone will have PTSD and immediately assume we are going back to the bear.
Don’t get shaken when it happens.
Bitcoin holders spent a decade telling everyone they didn't need banks, custodians, or intermediaries. Just a cold wallet and self-sovereignty.
"Not your keys, not your coins." was crypto's most important religious tenet.
Then Coldcard happened. $100 million stolen from the most secure self-custody wallet in the ecosystem due to a bug that sat in the code for five years and was likely uncovered by AI.
The day after the hack, 10,000 Bitcoin flowed into exchanges. The same centralized platforms crypto was built to destroy. People have paid intermediaries for safe storage for centuries. Crypto thought this time was different.
This is a microcosm of what is happening on a larger scale. Intermediaries aren't going anywhere. Moody's agrees.
Not your keys, not your coins? Until your keys get hacked. Then it's, please, someone, hold my coins I'll gladly pay.

This is HISTORIC.
Bitcoin has never DECOUPLED from global M2 like this.
For over a decade, one rule held: when the money supply goes UP, Bitcoin goes UP.
Historically, BTC and M2 move together 83% of all 12-month periods.
This time, it broke.
Global M2 is at RECORD highs, up +7.2% in a year.
Meanwhile, $BTC trades near $64k, down -44.6% over the same period.
That's a massive 52 ppt gap.
In simple terms, more money is entering the financial system BUT it's not flowing into BTC.
The only other time BTC split from M2 (2021), it crashed 55% from $65K to $29K in 10 weeks.
And it later bounced back to a new high in 4 months.
This time, it's been 10 months... and counting -
the longest M2 break in Bitcoin’s history.
BTC has now crashed 48% from its $126K peak, with no bounce in sight.
The most reliable signal in crypto just broke.
NOBODY knows what happens next.
China has two paths to agentic commerce. Both are already live. Neither exists in the West.
Alibaba's model: AI sits on top of shopping, payments, travel, and maps. It doesn't recommend. It executes.
ByteDance's model: AI starts with attention, shapes desire through video, then converts inside the same feed. The agent that makes you want something also buys it for you.
One builds from commerce. The other builds from content. Both end at the same place: the agent shops, pays, and fulfills without the user ever leaving the platform.
The West is still arguing about protocols. China is processing 120 million AI payment transactions a week.

I have been in communication with Binance. This matter concerns only Binance’s UK and EU users. HTX does not conduct business in the UK or EU, and settlement negotiations with UK and EU regulators are already in progress. Any users affected in the course of these negotiations are welcome to contact HTX customer support at any time, and we will work to coordinate a resolution.
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026.
The data exposed:
- Full names
- Shipping addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy).
All affected customers have been contacted separately by email.
Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels.
We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected.
We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog:

⚠️ ALERT: Telegram has been removed from the iOS App Store worldwide.
Apple has not provided a reason for the removal, and neither Apple nor Telegram has issued an official statement at the time of writing.
Existing installations appear to remain functional.
Securing the backup seed phrase is hard.
Can't have someone else read it and say, "oh, that's a nice seed phrase".
Can't have it destroyed by fire, flood, etc.
Can't have a hacker gain access to it.
And most importantly, can't lose it yourself.
Reports are coming in that some Coldcard hardware wallet users are having their bitcoin drained. Multiple known Bitcoiners are confirmed affected.
@KLoaec’s working hypothesis is a low-entropy RNG issue, possibly in the secure element, with an attacker using AI to bruteforce and sweep only bip84 (segwit) paths, which would explain the partial thefts.
Root cause is still unconfirmed. Could be RNG, nonce reuse, or something else entirely.
If you use a Coldcard single-sig setup, check your balances now. If affected, email Coinkite with proof you control the keys.
Hearing unverified reports of partial bitcoin wallet thefts that correspond to odd on-chain fund movements. Root cause is unclear at this time. Please check your wallet balance and report back if you notice any loss of funds - more information is needed to aid the investigation!
