My girlfriend applied for an Indian e‑Visa on 24 Nov 2025 for travel on 3 Dec 2025, and we still haven’t received any update on the application, so we are now at risk of missing our US–India flight. Can someone help look into this?
Let that sink in. United has held on to all our belongings, including essential items — for several days. No access. No solutions. And now they say:
“We won’t cover anything. It was due to weather.”
Now here's the kicker: United did not return our cabin luggage. We waited in long queues hoping to claim it, only to be told:
“You’ll get your bags in Houston. After the 16th.” 🤯
Hey @united, I’m extremely disappointed with how you've handled our recent travel experience. This is not just a rant — it’s a real story of negligence and poor customer service. 🧵
After hours of dealing with agents on the phone, we were rebooked to a flight 2 days later — on July 16. Meaning, we had to spend 2 extra nights in NYC at our own expense.
Then we boarded. And sat. And waited. For four hours inside the plane — only to be told the flight was canceled. No proper assistance. Just a shrug and “call customer service.”
At the gate, we were forced to check in all 7 of our cabin bags because there was "no overhead bin space" left. We complied, despite some bags having essential medicines for our parents.
My family (7 members total, bookings under 2 confirmation numbers: C6HL5N and CCHQS5) was supposed to fly from Newark to Houston on July 14 via Cleveland, United flight at 3:59 PM.
