@abhymurarka Thanks Abhishek.
Given the massive scale of wealth generation in both public and private markets and monetisation that we’re seeing, we believe that the time for Indians wealth managers has arrived.

We’re at an Inflexion point as far as wealthy Indians are concerned. As wealthy Indians discover equities, we’re seeing an increase in financialisation of wealth. We believe a similar decadal opportunity exists in Indian wealth and alternate managers https://t.co/hZR57FzMXs
@amitmantri This in all honesty is far better than DDT which is levied at 20.56% on the gross amount paid out(10000+ crores on payout of 50000 crores)
Also since in the case of buyback, capital gains have been exempted in the hands of shareholders,effectively this is an administrative diff..
@amitmantri Amit, tax u/s 115QA in case of buybacks should be levied only on the amount of capital gains made by shareholders right,so if Rs 50000 crs bought back does not entail a tax of 10000 crs rather the tax will be 20%(Actually 23.296%) of the diff btwn buyback price and cost
