Dame Denise Lewis OBE was among guests at yesterday's official launch event to mark Birmingham City University’s first full term of teaching at Alexander Stadium. 🏟️
The former Olympic heptathlon champion joined new Chancellor Ade Adepitan, Vice-Chancellor Professor David Mba, Chair of Board of Governors Anita Bhalla and a host of stakeholders to tour the world-class facilities following the University’s £5.5 million repurposing project.
As well as the new home for the University’s Sport Science degrees, the venue will also become a base for BCU’s ambitious community engagement plans, especially around the subject of public health.
