The more fabric samples I go through, the more I realise:

Fabric specification ≠ fabric quality.

“Supima”, “Pima”, “100% cotton”, “cotton-poly blend” — these labels tell you what a fabric is made of, not how good it actually is.

For example, you’ll find “Supima cotton” tees selling for ₹500–600. But once you understand the economics of genuinely good Supima fabric, you realise the label alone tells you very little about the final product.

The same applies to blends.

A well-made cotton-poly fabric can feel, fit and perform better than a mediocre 100% cotton fabric.

Two tees can have the exact same composition and still feel completely different.

What actually matters is the quality of the fabric, yarn, construction, finishing, hand-feel, drape and performance.

Not because you blindly give customers whatever they ask for.

But because every customer interaction is a lesson in what actually matters.

An abandoned checkout → you learn where people hesitate.

Someone adds to cart but doesn’t buy → you learn what might be missing.

Someone buys one tee → you learn what could make them come back for another colour.

Someone returns → you learn where the product or expectation failed.

Someone loves the fit → you learn what your brand should double down on.

Customers are basically giving you free market research every single day.
