Adversities provide the opportunity for new ideas and new people to come to the forefront. It was indeed heartening to see the younger lot i.e Suraj, Nitin and their young associates from the Pindar Ghati Youth Club taking centre stage and organising todays protest program with calm, grace and finesse at the Sat Mor location on the Bhaniyawala to Rishikesh stretch. It was well planned and well organized. The fact that you brought in culture, music and tradition added a new favour. All in all, a great day where once again concerned citizens came together in large numbers to speak in one voice against this baffling and senseless decision to cut trees in an elephant reserve of all places!
