Many of the students are not placed. How will they manage to pay such a huge amount? Students tried to reach the ministers, college authorities, director but all in vain. We request the concerned authority to look into the issue as early as possible.

In order to get the passing certificate and last year mark sheet, we will have to pay the scholarship amount from our pockets i.e 65500 Rs. Many of the students are from a poor background. Some have availed education loan to pay the fees. It is not even the students' fault.

In the academic year 2018-19 , due to some technical issue during the form filling we didn't receive any scholarship and that too happened with students of four branches only. In the year 2019-20, we received 19000 Rs only out of 40000.

Every year we get a scholarship from Government of Maharashtra which is equal to half of the amount of fees of the institute so that we have to pay only half fees from our pockets.

This post is to bring the scholarship issue to everyone's notice which was neglected despite numerous efforts of students. We are students of College of Engineering Pune belonging to OBC / SBC / VJNT category.
