Yesterday, I posted about my sibling’s petrol car getting stranded on the road due to a fuel pump failure. The company itself confirmed it was linked to a fuel blending issue related to ethanol.
But unfortunately, I had to delete the post because of immense pressure from higher authorities. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take down something purely out of concern for family safety and precautions.
The unfortunate truth is that whenever someone speaks up about ethanol-related issues, attempts are made to silence them. This may continue, but these problems won’t disappear and tomorrow it could be my own car stranded the same way.

🚨These are not Labour Codes.
They are increasingly looking like Corporate Flexibility Codes dressed as labour reform.
➡️ Basic Pay Rule (Wages Code)
Basic salary must be ~50% or more of total CTC
Result: Take-home salary may drop immediately by ~8-15%, especially for private sector employees
➡️ Layoff & Retrenchment Threshold (Industrial Relations Code)
Earlier: Govt approval required for firms with 100+ workers
Now increased to 300+ workers
Meaning: More than 3x expansion in firing flexibility without prior permission
➡️ Fixed-Term Employment legalized
Companies can hire workers on contracts with no obligation of permanent absorption
Same work, but no long-term job security guarantee
➡️ Strike rules tightened
Mandatory 60 days notice period depending on case
Effectively reduces spontaneous industrial action capability
➡️ Inspector cum Facilitator system
Inspection regime replaced with “facilitation”
Critics argue this leads to less strict enforcement on employers
➡️ Workplace accident & safety (OSH Code)
Shift towards compensation-based resolution mechanisms
Faster closure of claims, but concerns over reduced criminal accountability in certain negligence cases
The core question remains:
If the balance was truly equal, why do most major changes consistently move in one direction?
✔ More hiring flexibility for firms
✔ Easier layoffs for companies
✔ Easier compliance burden for employers
✔ Faster dispute closure mechanisms
But for workers:
❌ Less job security
❌ More contractual employment
❌ Reduced collective bargaining strength.
This is not just “labour reform”.
It is a recalibration of power, shifting it from worker protection toward employer flexibility.
Maybe it should be called what it is:
Corporate Efficiency Codes not Labour Protection Codes.

We have received an acknowledgement from the Gujarat State Election Commission for our protest letter. However, no action has been taken yet in consonance with binding judgement of honorable Supreme court of India

@chiragbarjatya Rich affluent people don't go out to vote even if they are in their hometown. Pick any election and the see the dismissal voter turnout. Rich affluent believe with their money power they can get away with anything. They don't give a damn about elections.
@volklub Paaji, next time please ask what about Ethanol blending compliance? Are current engines complaint for >E20 blending? If govt comes with higher blending in a couple of years which is very highly likely, what will happen to current engines?
@TheBigGeek@SandeepMall It is compliance related. There are many cases of frauds in which fraudsters somehow manage to get multiple finances of same asset. Hence it's a complaince related requirement so that it can be known assets are hypothecated/mortgaged to this bank.
@Schandillia These same corporates sold their Sims with lifetime incoming free condition. Within few years, this benefit/condition removed. Fooled customers.
In Parliament's Zero Hour, I demanded an END to slavery-like conditions in PSBs! 500+ employees lost to stress in 10 yrs amid 32k vacancies, forced sales targets & no work-life balance. Time to protect our employees dignity! #EndBankSlavery#WorkLifeBalance@FinMinIndia
@AARahimdyfi thank you for raising bankers voice in Rajyasabha.
Stop modern-day slavery in banking.
Banks are meant for public service — not for aggressive selling of 3rd party products.Unrealistic targets, constant pressure, and harassment are pushing bankers to the edge.
Human lives are more important than sales numbers.

Dear @SrBachchan sir
I have always maintained that HUM is my most favourite movie of all time. Many have asked me that when there are so many classic movies all around, how is this one my favourite.
Well that’s because I saw multiple ranges of you in the film. Being TIGER, being a loving brother, being a family man, and above all, that one defining moment when your blood shot eyes led to that bus driver being kicked out in a massive way.
For me, THAT iconic movie was THE film for me.
Blessed to have watched it in theatre as a 14 year old!
Installed an internal TPMS in my Nexon.
> One of the most practical safety upgrades, especially for highway drives.
> It shows real-time tyre pressure and temperature and gives instant alerts if anything goes out of range.
> The display is solar-powered and can also be charged via USB.
> It comes with 5-year support, and every part is replaceable.
> Proper and equal tyre pressure improves stability, braking, fuel efficiency and tyre life.
> Cost: ₹2,600 for the TPMS + ₹400 for installation.
@WeekendInvestng@alashshukla No one desires to intentionally cause public inconvenience. It is purely UNINTENTIONAL.
A strike is a last resort. And law provides the right to strike.
Pls read Trade Union Act for better understanding.
Dear Indians,
Let me make you jealous.
Punjab voted for @AamAadmiParty
Today each family in Punjab is getting a free Health Insurance scheme worth 10 Lakh per family per year.
Up to 1 Lakh is insured by a private insurance company and if the bill goes over it, the government funds the extra money up to 10 Lakhs.
This is universal, no income certificate is needed.
One just needs to be a voter in Punjab and have an adhar card registered in Punjab.
This is what happens when you select an educated leader who understands the value of family.
Many of you pay premium insurance and yet are denied the facility and reimbursement.
In, Punjab it's going to be hassle free.
Now no one in Punjab is one hospitalization away from getting poor.
Now no one in Punjab needs to sell their land to get good treatment.
And yes, both government and private hospitals are free.
This is what will give the country #RanglaPunjab
