We are excited to share our new paper describing the mechanism of CENH3-mediated genome elimination. https://t.co/IeuLuf5pMA
We dedicate this paper to Simon Chan (1974-2012).

We are thrilled to have our spatial single-cell atlas of the Arabidopsis lifecycle in @NaturePlants. It turns out that it is easy to generate aesthetic images when the spatial expression of 1,000 genes is available! 1/n

New Letter: "Sporophyte-directed gametogenesis in Arabidopsis" https://t.co/bELtoOV98j
In flowering plants the gametophyte develops within the sporophyte. Male gametophyte development in Arabidopsis is directed by the sporophyte through repression of gametogenesis genes.
New Article: "Chromosomal inversion at the DG1 promoter drives double-grain spikelets and enhances grain yield in sorghum" https://t.co/alMAxQ4ax6
36kb inversion in DG1 promoter increases DG1 expression, inducing double-grain spikelets by restoring fertility to the lower floret.
