Ladies and gentlemen, we have here the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. During his tenure, he flagrantly and unlawfully invoked the Emergencies Act against peaceful protestors and callously seized their bank accounts without due process. His actions demonstrated a disregard for the fundamental rights of Canadians and eroded trust in public office. The travel restrictions he oversaw affected over 6 million people, inflicting immeasurable harm.

It is truly disappointing that instead of taking responsibility for the consequences of his actions, he audaciously claims to be a "free man".

In my opinion, his refusal to acknowledge the harm caused reveals a cavalier disposition towards the rule of law. A person who cannot accept responsibility should never hold a position of power. He should be held accountable for his behavior in public office and reflect upon his actions, rather than seeking undeserved accolades or acknowledgement for his current status.
