@KhloeeeChoi and I often had the same questions working in this space.
How are others doing their work?
How do they learn, manage time, and stay on track in such a fast-moving industry?
We couldn’t really find clear answers anywhere,
so we decided to start looking ourselves.
That’s how Beyond the Gap began,
from curiosity about how people actually work and think in Web3.
As the industry grows, new people keep joining,
and even those already in it sometimes lose direction.
We wanted to share the conversations that might give perspective.
Working across different languages and cultures,
we’ve seen how wide those gaps can be.
This project is simply our way of exploring them a bit closer.
It’s our first step, and we’re still learning,
but we’ve started, and that already means something to us⚡️
How did gaming and collecting lead someone to build @AxieInfinity?
@anna__yoon and I interviewed @Jihoz_Axie, co-founder of @AxieInfinity and @Ronin_Network, during the last KBW. His story stayed with me, esp as a gamer and anime nerd myself.
In today’s Beyond the Gap short, Jiho talks about how he’s always loved two things:
- playing games
- collecting things
One day, he realized crypto was the fusion of both.
He also shared how playing StarCraft showed him that games can be one of the best ways to help people understand new technology naturally—through fun, without pressure.
If you’re curious about the other shorts and the longer video dropping this week, check them out on Beyond the Gap <3

@adrianbrink 's honest answers made this interview one of the funniest we’ve ever filmed! @anoma
Forget calm, elegant meditation. He recommended boxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ.
And honestly… there are days when work makes me want to punch something instead of meditating, so maybe I really should try it myself✊
One of my favorite questions to ask in any interview is: Who do you respect in this industry?
We started this channel because we’re genuinely curious about how people in this space work, solve problems, and think.
Having someone you respect means having someone to learn from, and a path you can follow.
@adrianbrink chose @zooko from @Zcash. And the reason he gave was such a valuable insight.
If you want to see more of Adrian’s interview, the long-form video is coming to the channel next week. Stay tuned!

What problems can blockchain actually solve?
At KBW, we interviewed @adrianbrink from @anoma@anomafoundation, the red-haired guy you simply cannot ignore when he walks by😁
Really grateful he made time for us despite his packed schedule🙏
Do you think blockchain can truly reshape the financial system?
Will WW3 actually happen?
And if it does… should we really move to the country Adriane mentioned?
Editing this interview left me with so many thoughts🤔
It was my first time hosting an interview so I was definitely not perfect, but his answers were fascinating.
If I get the chance, I’d love to have a deeper conversation with him next time:))

How did a Harvard grad fall into crypto community?
Our next Beyond the Gap short features the iconic intern from @sign , Megan. @roguescholarbro
In today’s video, Megan shares how convo with her friend @motherofqianbei — who kept emphasizing the importance of personal branding — pulled her into CT, eventually leading her into the Harry Potter Obama Sonic 10 Inu community and later, the Sign team.
We first met her at KBW, where the entire Sign team was running a karaoke booth in neon vests (yes, people were actually inside belting songs).
As a hardcore karaoke fan myself, it was unforgettable.
Now she’s spreading Sign’s attestation schema infrastructure protocol and the sovereign infrastructure global nations …more
with the energy of a very friendly cult leader 🧡
If you’re curious about the full version and the other shorts (and the long-form episode) dropping throughout the week, check them out on Beyond the Gap!

Is a Web3 job really for everyone? 👀
In today’s short clip, our next guest on Beyond the Gap,
@DooWanNam -founder of @StableLab and BD Lead at @SkyEcosystem —explains why he doesn’t casually recommend working in Web3, and his answer goes deeper than you’d expect.
From industry misconceptions to the mindset required to survive in a space that has evolved dramatically in the last 4–5 years, he breaks it down calmly and honestly.
If you’re curious about what people in Web3 really think and do behind the scenes, check out our new shorts (and the full episode) on yt!!
More coming this week 🫶🏻

What makes a good crypto founder (and a good crypto project)?
I caught up with @fraaaankfu from @IOSGVC in Seoul during KBW and asked who he respects in this space.
He highlighted @grass and co-founder @0xdrej for building something that makes sense in an AI world starving for data.
We turned it into a quick interview—now live on Beyond the Gap.
New short videos every day (plus one longer video per week 👀).
More coming soon, so pls subscribe and stick around ❤️

Thinking about getting into Web3?
@forgivenever (founder of @Conflux_Network ) shares what you really need to understand before you do:)
🎥 Watch: https://t.co/s0mHX1b8yA
In this episode, we sat down with @forgivenever , the founder of @Conflux_Network, one of the longest-standing builders in the space.
He talked about what it really means to survive in Web3, where there are few rules and so many gray areas.
Beyond market cycles or money, it’s about learning how to stay yourself and not get twisted by the noise.
It’s one of those talks that brings you back to what really matters:)

Thanks to @forgivenever from @Conflux_Network for the interview! 🙌
His video will be out tomorrow — stay tuned :))
And @gdog97_ from @ethena , someone just said you’re the hottest and most innovative guy in the scene, better check it out😏🔥

@anna__yoon, my colleague at @followin_io (a.k.a. my crypto mommy) and I kept running into the same questions while working in this space:
- How are other teams actually doing marketing?
- How do Web3 BDs and builders learn, play, and survive in a market that moves at the speed of light?
Since none of this is written in a whitepaper, we decided to seek the answers ourselves—so we created a YouTube channel [Beyond the Gap] to uncover what people in Web3 really do and think behind the scenes.
We spent @kbwofficial and @token2049 Singapore interviewing founders, builders, and OGs, capturing honest conversations about the crypto scene and their careers from their own pov.
We’ll share episodes regularly and stay noisy about them on X too :3 more interviews and stories coming soon. stay tuned and walk with us! 🫶🏻
Our first episode features @forgivenever, founder of @Conflux_Network. He’s an OG who has spent 7 years building one project with unbelievable dedication. In the long video uploading tomorrow, he discusses his journey and what commitment in Web3 truly looks like, and about how @gdog97_ , the founder of @ethena , has become one of the biggest innovators of this cycle.
He is hilarious irl, and I really appreciated the fun and honest convo that i had with him!
