@Busted@Ticketer_UK I’m still awaiting on my tickets for the Birmingham Busted date! Any news on dispatch, it’s getting close and still haven’t got them and worrying they’re not going to arrive in time 😫
I had my baby 3 months ago and everyone’s favourite question is when I’m going back to work. It’s amazing the judgement I have had from simply saying when SMP ends. Yes, I can still look after my baby and still have a career. We’re in the 21st century, this shouldn’t be a thing!
First time missing #AmCon23 in 8 years!
Hope all those attending are learn so much from the experts, and inspired by those around them and the incredible survivors.
I had a traumatic birth with my baby and as a result haven’t been able to because my body won’t physically allow for it. I feel so guilty that I can’t do it and all you want to do is do the best for your baby. There’s such a stigma around it and there shouldn’t be.
On Friday I confronted Suella Braverman's use of hateful language. She refused to apologise. We must always challenge the language of hate. The Home Office demanded the video be taken town. They seem not to realise we are still a democracy.
We’re back for #AmCon2022 after a very different few years!
Looking forward to hearing from amazing speakers and meeting so many new ambassadors! @HolocaustUK
They didn’t resign over Covid deaths.
They didn’t resign over benefit cuts.
They didn’t resign over Partygate.
They didn’t resign over PPE.
They didn’t resign over Brexit failure.
They didn’t resign over deporting refugees.
Spare us the praise for the ‘good’ Tories.
I spotted this near my office in Glasgow a few days ago, and it’s absolutely horrific.
Scotland is not immune to racism. We each need to take a stand in tackling this issue, and showing that the groups that share these messages will not succeed in dividing us.
We are partnering with @SCoJeC for an event discussing what is happening to the Uyghur community.
We'll be joined by @MahmutRahima for a discussion chaired by @OliviaRMW (@HMD_UK) with input from @MichaelPolakLaw.
Please do come along!

The @TribunalUyghur is hearing evidence of atrocity crimes - one of which is genocide.
Here, Yet Again’s Co-Executive Director, @Joe_E_Collins_ explains what genocide is under international law.

BREAKING NEWS: UK PARLIAMENT UNANIMOUSLY VOTES TO DELARE THAT THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT IS PERPETRATING GENOCIDE & CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY UYGHURS.
🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Come along at 1.30PM tomorrow in Parliament Square for a socially-distanced protest to demand our MPs pass a motion to recognise genocide in the Uyghur region. We will be joined by many in the Uyghur community, and parliamentarians from all parties. #callitgenocide
There has still been steps forward despite the #GenocideAmendment not passing. Changes have been made and sanctions have been imposed.
We will still fight on.
#BREAKING: #GenocideAmendment defeated 318 to 300
Now for a second vote on the Government compromise amendment.
We want a NOE vote on this. If NOE prevails we ALSO win the #GenocideAmendment
So, according to @greghands Gov position is:
Only courts can decide on genocide.
UNLESS they're a select committee which is examining "credible" cases which is NOT a genocide determination, AND they don't want a committee of judges to do it, but will allow a judge to join. 🤯
The debate on the Genocide Amendment is about to start in the Commons.
You can watch live via https://t.co/3ri4CsChIR and we’ll be keeping you up to date in the following thread.
Be part of the conversation by using #GenocideAmendment.
