293 Covid deaths today.
Or one fifth of the total no. of road traffic fatalities in an entire *year*.
Yet we have seat belts, speed limits, drink driving laws etc.
I want to know why @10DowningStreet seemingly doesn’t give a damn about Covid deaths.
RT if you do too.
❗️ Covid hospital admission rate in England hits highest since February.
❗️ The next 2 weeks will see even higher hospitalisation rates for our beleaguered health & ambulance staff to cope with.
❗️ More surgery and planned treatments will be cancelled.

❌Cut taxes for champagne, bankers & frequent fliers
❌Raised taxes unfairly on working people
❌Meagre support for pupil catch-up
❌Too little to help the climate crisis
❌No help with rising energy bills
A woeful budget from a chancellor who is out of touch and out of ideas.
❗️ Ambulance service in crisis.
❗️ Patients dying or harmed by delays.
❗️ 17.4% of patients now managed over the phone.
✅ @sajidjavid shouldn't most patients needing ambulance services get it face to face?
Apparently Cholera is now a price worth paying for Brexit. It’s either pour raw sewage into our waters, to try and reserve enough chemicals for drinking water, or admit we actually need the EU more than they need us. Guess which the government chose?
there’s a lingering disquiet about Tory MPs voting last week against an amendment to stop private water companies dumping raw sewage into rivers and coastlines…not sure they’ve gauged the public mood on this
Unbelievable how many Tory MPs representing coastal constituencies seemed oblivious in the sewerage vote to the consequences of polluted seas for their local economies.
Just another ‘lazy GP’ ready to see West Wirral’s unwell, both face to face and remotely at 8am on a Saturday (& honoured to do so). Public, please get behind us, we went into medicine to help, i don’t know a GP who isn’t working late/starting early; feeling tired and demoralised
