Had a drink on the Q&B patio with @natashabraham92 in Derrick’s honour today. We miss you, your wisdom, your humour, and your covert winks so much, friend.
Hey CBC how about a follow-up segment?
Topic ideas: How Canadian denialism reinforces racism. How narrative of racism=America feeds false narrative of Canada=good/not racist. How non-diverse media sustains this. Why defunding police should be part of discussion. 👇
The CESB portal has been open for just over a week. Here are some answers to your most frequently asked questions! #CESB#students#covid19
Also‼️ Ask Minister @CQualtro Qualtrough to include #internationalstudents https://t.co/NDxqkOYRkk

The #CESB is now available and we’ve updated the blog to give you more info on where to apply, how much supplemental income you can earn, what constitutes a disability and a dependant, and a link to the government’s interactive eligibility check list! https://t.co/GPXRjKzN89
.@BrandonAmyot just listened in on your interview with @RosieBarton on @CBCNews - it was great! An important reality check for all of these “stop giving handouts to lazy youth” people. Your interview made it clear that the #CESB is actually helping youth support their communities
The Canada Emergency Student Benefit portal opens today, but international students are still left out.
International students need support too. Call Minister Qualtrough today to expand #CESB.

Student organizations like the @CFSFCEE have been calling on the government for over a month for an emergency student benefit. They knew it was going to be desperately needed come May 1. These numbers just go to show how incredibly right they were.
Our amazing articling student @annagfinch wrote this blog post on the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) one week ago; it now has over 60,000 views. Clearly this is an area of desperate need @JustinTrudeau.
