It would be important for President Ruto’s team to clarify whether he has instructed the MAJORITY LEADER to WITHDRAW the Finance Bill. This will avoid any information gaps because President CANNOT withdraw the finance bill on his own accord. Only the MOVER of the bill can do that at any stage of the bill in the House. As things stand now, ALL the stages of the bill have now passed. @StateHouseKenya and Parliament should therefore QUICKLY clarify the procedure that will be used to withdraw the bill at this point, as guided by the Standing Orders and the constitution of Kenya 2010. This will give Kenyans confidence in the words of President @WilliamsRuto.
