This is one of the most egregious things I've ever seen. Do I approve of that word? Not necessarily, but she had every right to use whatever word (fighting words/threats aside) she wanted in that situation. Hell, she had every right to have pulled a weapon against that man.

Asians are face-blind to obvious racial differences in Caucasoid peoples in the same way most Europeans are to Asian sub groups, so an obvious Levantine looks indistinguishable from a Greek/Italian to her in the same way a Korean looks Japanese to you.
