Ghana has made significant progress towards defeating #TB.
Today, I am happy to join the the Deputy Minister for Health @mohgovgh, Hon. Mahama Asei Seini and other partners to commemorate #WorldTBDay, with a commitment to strengthening efforts towards ending TB in Ghana.
Africa has shown the world that it is possible to reach – and even surpass –the first milestone of the End TB Strategy.
In 2⃣0⃣2⃣0⃣, Africa has recorded a 2⃣0⃣% reduction in TB cases and a decline rate of 2⃣2⃣% in new infections since 2⃣0⃣1⃣5⃣.

Thanks to @JapanGov generous support a total of 101 children aged 2-12 years in 🇿🇼received free hernia repairs during the @MoHCCZim 5 day surgical camp at Victoria Chipeto Hospital in Mutare which ended today. Children’s lives have been changed for the better
