If you’re making every decision, you’re slowing your company down.
Early on, being the decision-maker is a superpower.
You move fast. Nothing gets stuck.
Everyone comes to you.
But somewhere around 15–30 employees, that strength quietly becomes the biggest bottleneck in the business.
Every question needs your input. Every decision waits for your approval.
Every small issue lands in your inbox.
And it’s not because your team isn’t capable.
But because you’ve trained them to rely on you.
Most founders aren’t overwhelmed by work.
They’re overwhelmed by decisions.
I’ve realised this:
Scaling isn’t about making better decisions.
It’s about making fewer of them.
A few things that help:
Be painfully clear on ‘what good looks like’
Push decisions to the lowest responsible level
Document how decisions should be made (not just what was decided)
Accept that 80% done by the team beats 100% done by you.
You’re not going to be able to scale if everything needs you.
Tools like Asana, Monday, Slack or ClickUp charge per user, and the costs add up fast.
Managing 10 people? That’s $1,200+ per month, just to stay organized.
https://t.co/DSRB93ri5M gives you everything in one place, projects, chat and docs for just $99/month.
Feature Update 🚨
Panorama View - Create a custom view of tasks collated from across your different projects.
One of the key feedback requests from customers recently has been about the need to have a 'High Level' view onto their tasks. "Show me only what I want to see right now".
So we built out the Panorama View which allows you to do just that.
Create filtered views of exactly what tasks you want to see across ALL Hubs and Projects.
We've got a ton of releases coming over the next few weeks. All based on feedback from customer conversations. Give me a shout if there's something you want us to work on next 🙏
We've got two exciting updates today that I want to share with you. 🔥
1. Timer based time tracking.
2. Bulk task uploads.
Adding the form on our Roadmap page on the website has been a proper revelation. Our whole team gets visibility into feature requests from customers and if we're getting the same request again and again, we'll push to get it done asap.
Thanks for everyone that takes the time to send in their feedback and requests.
🙏
We've been crazy busy the last few weeks making a ton of tweaks and improvements. So I've got a number of things to share.
Small tweaks:
- Personalised Date formatting. Choose mm/dd or dd/MM
- Doc Mention in Tasks
- Gradient colour backgrounds for Doc and Form headers
And 2 big updates:
- Guest account invites - Improved UI
- Public share for Docs 🔥
Check out the walkthrough video below. Keep your suggestions coming in the comments below or let me know via our roadmap page.
If you're a SaaS, running a Lifetime Deal (LTD) can be a great way to get early validation and feedback (as well as a boost in revenue). The challenge is to then convert these early buyers into brand ambassadors and advocates of your SaaS. 🚀
8/8 The tool space is crowded with overpriced, overly complex pricing. I’m tired of it. $49/mo for unlimited everything is my take on what’s next, how teams should work. That’s Teamhub’s heart. Check it out if it resonates. https://t.co/tEFuvDAwCo
1/8 As Teamhub’s founder, I’ve always thought per-user subscriptions feel outdated. Why charge more as teams grow? I believe a single price point is the future, that’s why we're trying out $49/mo for unlimited everything plan at https://t.co/6CIPcSwoRh
