Proud of BCM psychology predoc intern Brent Lang presenting on substance use disorders among rural Veterans at #NRHA2019- understanding the disparities will help us make sure that evidence based treatment gets to those who need them. Great work Brent!
When your brain says, "This ALWAYS happens to me!" and you become very anxious, angry or sad to the point that you can't problem-solve. It's a classic thought trap, overgeneralization. X hasn't ALWAYS happened, and even when it did, you coped.
