@bobfromaz@alex_l_farber@histories_arch I think the question was, how was the woman chosen who would become the priestess in the first place. What was the mechanism that led to her selection
@VaibhavSisinty They charge per token because tokens are a COMMODITY. There is a finite amount of tokens that can be produced at any given time, and, for the best models, they are at capacity.
@m1883643@Rainmaker1973 I'm not pro or anti-vax, but two things: 1) studies take this long to be peer-reviewed. 2) The end of the post pointed out that COVID significantly increases your risk for myocarditis significantly more than the vaccine did. By a factor of like a thousand.
@SteadtlerA58435@cgtwts They certainly could have, whether it's better or not would be an open question. What they can't buy when they roll their own is the telemetry data on how people use models that cursor has been collecting for the past 4 years. Which is what they really want.
@ChildofSatoshi@esidery Even if the heat deal is better, it requires Giannis being willing to sign an extension with the heat. He's not going to be willing to do if they gut the roster to get him. He just be in the same situation he's in now, but in MIA instead of MKE. Not what he wants.
@Robins_Tea_Dip@esidery@TheSteinLine Good luck finding a trade partner. Giannis is a FA after next season β if he doesn't agree to the deal behind the scenes and signals he won't re-sign, no team gives up real assets for a one-year rental. That makes him effectively untradable.
@WadexFlash So that's pretty much a bunch of rentals who won't resign in Milwaukee, a first round draft pick outside the top 10 this year, and a couple draft picks when my kids will be adults. The Bucks are just screwed.
@jaketakenote@esidery Giannis would say no for starters. As in, his agent would make damn sure the jazz knew he has no intention to signing an extension with them if they trade for him. So they would be renting him for one year for that price.
@ajwillis1010@KobeissiLetter Dude, the average age when they default is LISTED in the post -- 40. They are not kids. And they've been paying back the loan at that rate for over 16 years. Think you know what student loans are compared to what they were 25 years ago
@truckfreak82 @GiannisOwnsYou3 @Fullcourtpass@2HYPEPG13@basketballtalk Consider, for just one moment, that he actually means that. Then he wants to be consistent in his actions and beliefs. That doesn't mean that he has to stay on a sinking ship. It does mean he'll just play out his contract and walk.
@kawhi_ring Given the minutes restriction, and the way they collapsed down on him, yes. But I have the benefit of having watched the game and not simply read the stat line.
@BraverCrypto@TheDunkCentral@MikeAScotto Then perhaps defining "haul" would be helpful. The issue isn't so much the amount of picks they'd back, but the quality of those picks. As in they likely get zero lottery picks. Giannis would veto by telling a lottery team that he wouldn't resign, killing the deal.
@TheDunkCentral@MikeAScotto Obviously this doesn't work at all.... The bucs are over the second apron, so we need to send out the equivalent of what Ja makes this season.... $38.5M. this trade leaves The Bucks needing to ship out in additional 34 million in the transaction
@BraverCrypto@TheDunkCentral@MikeAScotto Common sense would tell you that nobody able to trade a "draft capital" warchest, and is still under the first apron, and that Giannis would resign with, exists. They are not getting a haul for Giannis.
