Excited to share our preprint about "Bursting Translation on Single mRNAs in Live Cells" https://t.co/9Vf0Y5SAJW by Nathan Livingston @nliving93 and Jiwoong Kwon, in collaboration with @JianLiu_Lab, @GreenLabJHMI and @taekjip
DAY 24 // CONNECTION
Always ensure the correct connection, no one wants to see loading dye running the wrong way
A little more molecular than micro today 😅

@BioMinnie Oh yeah that makes sense, I'll have to figure out what the upper limit is and do multiple requests. Glad to hear it worked got you what you needed though!
Excited to share our #Conservation#Genomics#Kākāpō#Preprint! Can we find associations for fitness-related traits in a critically endangered species? With 5 decades of phenotypes, species-wide sequencing, and an awesome group of folks #YesWeCan 🧵 1/n https://t.co/pn4jSGQbsx
@emmabell42 I love when people want to talk about the biological background of their experiments and share their excitement about cool results. For me, one of the most rewarding parts of these collaborations is learning new things about biology!
Marta will be discussing the use case of @PerMedCoE in the new @emblebi#CompetencyHub.
Find her at 11:30 CDT in the #EducationCOSI to hear all about this tool we have developed with our partners.

We tried to come up with a pun for this tweet, but it was a no-go 😉 check out our paper from @anthonyveltri out now on BioRxiv!

Our NMD paper is out on biorxiv today! The data suggest that ribosomes in the 3'UTR of an NMD target disrupts NMD. Excited to hear thoughts on this. @GreenLabJHMI@drgrantwbrown@lalanev11@anthonyveltri @miguelpach95

@dorkarole I tried this once and got no protein at the end following the protocol in the manual 🤷♂️ but I never tried it again so let me know if you do it an it works! Another option is TCA precip and RNA extract from aliquots of the same lysate, but that might be more work
