@Luke22606923018 @zDamascus I disagree who cares you can bait with empty jump throw once you know it’s a habit from the opponent it becomes a pretty weak defensive option
@_M8SN@broskiFGC To me, it comes at the expense of coolness. I don’t care when someone reacts to a DI with an easy mode super. Fighting games are supposed to reward that dexterity of getting a clean super out in a desperate moment
@broskiFGC People complain about fighting characters that were never much of a problem. Ken, akuma, bison, cammy, make a lot of sense to fight. Yes theyre great characters but don’t get how they’re annoying.
Mai is the only really unfun character to fight in the whole game.
Thank you very much!
Illusion of Gaia was developed by Quintet, and I worked on it in parallel with the final stages of ActRaiser 2, which was also a Quintet project.
I was in charge of all three forms of the main character.
When I received the assignment, I was told I could animate them however I liked, so I made sure the hair and clothing flowed smoothly in the wind from all directions.
I also proposed and added various subtle movements to enhance the animation.
For each form, I put in a lot of care and attention to detail to bring out the character’s personality in the animations.
