Funny how 'Claude' and 'Gemini' are everyone's new best friend, and 'ChatGPT' sounds like a printer error code.
ChatGPT got there first and still missed the easiest branding layup in tech.
@fin465 Given most of this will be automated eventually once the data and AI capability is more reliable for customer interactions, this is a solid take.
@davegerhardt It depends if the CEO came up from Marketing, Sales, Engineering, etc. The ones from Sales won't be able to help themselves. I actually find the technical ones are good at this.
I love this concept. Taking everyone away for two days would be the tough part. I've seen most hackathons happen during off-hours / weekends. The ROI of the full 2 days I'm sure would be worth it, but conceptually harder to do with product, customer, and operational deadlines.
I find Google's AI strategy so interesting.
1) They are having some brain drain on the model development due to their choices on where to invest in the business.
4) They can then leaning into the part of the value chain that makes sense. That could be pushing back aggressively into model dev to own a segment of the market.
@danmartell Not necessarily. Some people like to be followers and just need effective leadership to maximize their potential and impact. They may never be leaders themselves.
@SahilBloom Spot on. Prior experience in something is over-rated unless it is a highly special skill or knowledge set. Invest in people that can identify problems and figure out how to solve them all day long.
@alliekmiller On the one hand, I can see how employees will see their AI game as a competitive differentiator in a labor market.
On the other hand, they could make their expertise have a big impact in their existing org/function that will provide bigger benefits to them down the road.
@thejustinwelsh Intent and other signals tell you who is ready to buy, but they mask the people who are close to ready to buy. The part of Marketing many people forget about is simply staying top of mind for prospects who aren't triggering any traditional buying signals.
