I'm kinda sick of seeing emojis and text which shows that it was written by AI.
Does it bug you?
(It is interesting as I did a master thesis on AI in teaching.)
Is pronouncing words from other languages like they sound in those languages pretentious?
I came across this on Instagram & it got me thinking.

So much of my time & energy as a language coach, goes into challenging existing learning & teaching patterns due to our screwed up education systems.
Be patient.
You ARE improving.
Focus on learning, NOT marks
ASK QUESTIONS, don't just sit there nodding your head.

Asking for the #langtwt community:
What’s the best way to “make room” for more language learning?
It can either be a way to learn more or make what we’re already doing more effective
@konohabeat I'd be over the top if my professor did that tbh 😍
Whereas some kid who just took it due to parental/societal pressure initially: 👀Ugh, can we move on?
Sometimes, you just get neutral reactions. Like "Why are you so excited about this stuff?"
Me: You just don't get it 😤
The more languages your language teacher knows, the more comparisons they can make, to connect with students of various backgrounds.
From personal experience, even some basic comprehension of the NL of the student (which you don't speak) makes wonders.
