Clip from Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom protest.
An older woman and a boy chase a woman of colour, and the boy tells the older woman to “smack her” twice.
The woman of colour responds: “I was born in this country”.
Definitely not far-right.
@EndWokeness Vikings fought in the Varangian Guard, traded in North Africa, and settled in lands far from Scandinavia, often marrying locals along the way. The fact you think they never encountered or had descendants with anyone Black tells me your history education came from a meme page.
@EndWokeness Maybe stop cherry-picking the parts that fit your narrative. Read the full study. Or at least find one that actually proves your point instead of quoting the one that flat-out contradicts you if you get past the first paragraph.
@EndWokeness Yeah the Putnam study found trust drops in diverse areas at first, but he literally said the long-term benefits are massive. The issue isn’t diversity, it’s when there’s no inclusion, no shared space, and no effort to build community. That’s on policy, not people.
@kangminlee The study focused on eight specific polarising issues, and Republicans just showed more variation in their responses on those. The left appeared more clustered because those particular issues are more central to their group identity at the moment. Can't be generalized.
@JacobAShell The study focused on eight specific polarising issues, and Republicans just showed more variation in their responses on those. The left appeared more clustered because those particular issues are more central to their group identity at the moment. Nothing more.
