@AtivanDad@OrwellNGoode Fair point, in my personal circumstance such shops are quite far from me and fuel costs are quite prohibitive for long drives to my nearest city.
@OrwellNGoode Now selling it is the most difficult part, because it depends on finding a trusted buyer who won't rat you out and pay a fair price for it. Then there's depositing the proceeds into the bank, who will ABSOLUTELY ask questions on how you came across the funds.
@OrwellNGoode The trouble is, at the end of the day, both hiding it and selling it. Hiding is perhaps the easiest, however it is ultimately an illiquid asset. Good if you're into the prep side of things but useless for day-to-day use.
So many people are saying the same thing. The decay across Britain (especially since the Covid era) is noticeable almost everywhere. Weeds growing on pavements. Filthy streets and signposts. Potholes strewn everywhere. Overflowing rubbish bins. Dirty buildings. Blocked road drains. Boarded up shops. What exactly are we paying our council tax for? We are paying more and getting less. Local councils are failing to deliver on the basics. It’s absolutely disgraceful. Britain is being left to rot.
@Rstoucher4US@King0243_PJC@Gary1234nobody@ZiaYusufUK And unless they have the military force and authority that emanates from that, all a country has to do to continue its infringements is:
(1) Ignore any judgements
(2) Refuse to pay any fine it imposes
Turns out you can just do stuff
@EylonALevy Come in ye blacks and tans,
Come inside me like a man
Show my arse how you shagged goats in As-Suwayda
Show me how the IRA
Made like hell and ran away
