Frank Gashumba is back to default settings and has started speaking things that will land him into trouble again.
Frank Gashumba:
Even when I am gone, you will play this tape. Unless General Yoweri Museveni searches his heart and realizes that guns and the military cannot continue to solve Uganda's problems, we need a sincere dialogue. If they don't do that, mark my words, we are heading the way of Syria, Somalia, and Libya—you don't even have to question it.
Ibra, the ongoing oppression has gone too far. People are being killed, people are being kidnapped. The CMI [Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence] headquarters has become a center for torturing people; people are beaten with sticks. So, that cruelty... that suppressed frustration is what they call deep-seated anger. When it eventually erupts, it will be like a volcanic mountain. I repeat, even when I am gone, you will play this tape. Don't even debate it.
First of all, the top military officials are currently using this time to lie to President Yoweri Museveni.
Interviewer:
What are they lying to him about?
Frank Gashumba:
A lot. They lie to him that these people are going to destroy this country. I even believe they lie to him that foreign entities are behind what is happening in Uganda, which is completely false. Actually, 80 percent of the political and economic intelligence President Museveni receives is false. The top army officials use it as a conduit to extort money from him. I think you understand.
Interviewer:
Do you have proof of that?
Frank Gashumba:
Yes! Yes, I have said these things publicly. If I am lying, or if they claim I am lying, they should summon me so I can explain it to them directly.
I see a Uganda where the number of oppressed people is going to keep increasing because the youth are hungry and angry.
Interviewer:
So the best solution would be...
Frank Gashumba:
They are alert and they are angry. Moreover, they connect with Bobi Wine because, as you know, Bobi Wine's life story is of a self-made man from the ghetto. In themselves, they see another Bobi Wine. So, unless you step up and address the core issues hurting them, even if Bobi Wine leaves the scene tomorrow, another Bobi Wine will crop up.
Let me break it down:
* Northern Uganda has 7 million people. Are you listening? It has 70 constituencies.
* Central Uganda has 9.5 million people, and it has 76 constituencies.
* Eastern Uganda has 9.4 million people, and it has 81 constituencies.
* Western Uganda has 8.8 million people. Do you know how many constituencies it has? 146!
Have you understood? Whoever has understood this should clap their hands loudly.
Canada’s March to the Match is making its way, winding through Vancouver streets toward BC Place Stadium.
It’s a full take over. Surreal atmosphere all along the route. Fans chanting and cheering, Vancouver is completely locked into the moment.
Fully electric. Red is everywhere you look.
UPDATE:Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi has written to the Speaker of Parliament requesting the reconvening of the House to debate alleged human rights violations.

Listening keenly to Hon. Okot Peter’s powerful nomination speech for Hon. @norbertmao detailing his rich, cross-regional upbringing, stellar academic and legal credentials, decades of public service, and bridge-building leadership, it becomes crystal clear why President @KagutaMuseveni would find it extremely difficult to drop him from Cabinet.
Despite the ‘What next for Mao?’ headlines after his principled but unsuccessful bid for Speaker, Mao’s value as a credible, experienced, and nationally unifying figure in the DP-NRM cooperation framework remains undeniable. Talent, track record, and strategic alliances aren’t easily discarded.
RE: SPEAKERSHIP RACE
I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race.
After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament.
I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker.
I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years.
I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same.
I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me.
In the meantime, I pledge to continue cooperating with all ongoing investigations as initiated by the relevant organs of the state to get to the root of all the allegations raised.
FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.

An attempt to strip Ugandans living outside Uganda of their citizenship is the most crazy intention the framers of the #SovereigntyBillUG could have demonstrated #RejectSovereigntyBill
Someone tell Prof PLO Lumumba to read the till number on his wall. This wisdom should be packaged as table salt and be distributed to all kitchens in the country.
