When we look back at how far we’ve come, it’s clear - this has been the work of the Holy Spirit, leading and empowering us every step of the way. Ebenezer!
This weekend, we celebrate 42 years of Watoto Church, reminded that the same Spirit who started this work is still moving today.
Join us at all our campuses as we celebrate and continue our journey as A Spirit Empowered Church.

✍️Thesis Training Write-Shop: Unlocking Thesis Completion for Masters and Doctoral Scholars 🎓
Writing a university thesis is more than an exercise of data collection & analysis; it is a psychological & technical marathon that students are often expected to run without formal training in “proper form.” In sub-Saharan Africa, high supervisor-to-student ratios frequently create gaps in scholarly mentorship & couching, leading to delayed completion of thesis books.
To address this challenge, the African Crop Science Journal, in partnership with Scholarly Works Associates, announce a Virtual Thesis Write-shop. This program is designed to bridge the mentorship gap by imparting the technical precision and psychological resilience required to transition from raw data to a submission-ready draft. The goal is to demystify the writing process, providing graduate students with the hands-on skills and practical tools needed to finalize their theses with confidence.
⏰Deadline for applications: 15 April 2026

The first day of the 21st CAADP Partnership Platform & 16th Africa Day for Food and Nutrition Security (ADFNS) concluded in Kigali with strong calls for collective action and innovation.
Rwanda's Minister of State, Dr. Telesphore Ndabimenye, welcomed delegates and affirmed that the event's theme, "From Malabo to Kampala: Accelerating Just, Resilient Agrifood Systems Transformation for Nutrition and Sustainable Growth," signifies a crucial shift: moving from policy declarations to tangible implementation.
He stressed that achieving food security requires "producing better" and making nutrition a central pillar of Africa’s agricultural and development agenda.
