The @Summit_VB (North) & @EXOSsports (Frisco) partnership is off to a great start! These girls are having a blast as they finish up their first round of training with EXOS. Back at it in January! 📈🤝🏐
And 6-8 sessions isn’t that much time. If they can’t commit to 6-8 session a month, they’re going to face an uphill battle if they play at the collegiate level. 📈
Private sector talk 👇
Although our gym trains a ton of people every single year, personally a lot of people reach out to me to ask how I have so many private training clients.
My simple answer is that I really don’t.
I have 15 athletes that I train either 1v1 or small groups give or take a +/- depending on the season.
The only thing is that I’m very particular about who I take on and that I require consistency.
No one wants flakey athletes/parents but they also just don’t get better when they’re not consistent. It’s a waste of time.
Outside of skill work, I would say the HS athletes that I have had had success, but in reality when you string 24 to 36 straight months of training for 6-8 sessions a month… it’s no secret why!
This one stings but motivates me to do everything I can to make a positive change within the current landscape of @ECNLgirls and HS soccer.
@lauren_schad you’ll be back and better! My folks at @AndrewsInst are top of the line and will get you back in no time! 📈💯⚽️
@ESPNBooger There are undoubtedly conversations happening btwnTua and multiple medical folks about his specific situation.
My goal is to remind people brain injuries are non-linear; until we have improved diagnostic/rtp concussion tests we should refrain from advocating arbitrary timelines.
It amazes me how many high school athletes have aspiration of playing their sport in college at some level yet haven’t been introduced to some kind of strength and conditioning program.
@DrJesseMorse While I agree with you, it’s on the athlete to understand this idea. It’s a business and teams move accordingly. They pay, you play. They care about Sunday, not the next 5 years.
