@JmWatson16 @marcrandolph Nothing. But eliminating a commission doesn’t automatically eliminate the economic cost to the buyer. If the market clears at $500k, why would the seller take $470k just because there’s no realtor? The seller pockets the difference.

@JmWatson16 @marcrandolph The commission is already priced into the transaction. Eliminate the realtor and what makes you think the seller will graciously pass the savings to the buyer instead of pocketing it? You eliminated an intermediary, not necessarily a cost.
