so this friend of mine was dating a guy from well to do family not soft money, but the kind that smells like factories, land, mines in rajasthan. power money. from the first month itself, he sold certainty. marriage wasn’t a distant dream, it was part of the onboarding. he didn’t just say things he staged them. made her talk to his mother. involved his sister. created an ecosystem where seriousness looked unquestionable.

so she trusted him.
because consistency is convincing.

she gave everything. told her family. convinced them. burned bridges with friends because he didn’t like her having male friends. control wrapped as care. possessiveness marketed as love. and she mistook restriction for commitment like most people do when they’re emotionally invested.

then reality knocked. softly at first.

for weeks, he started rehearsing a tragedy. “my family is forcing me to marry a family friend’s daughter.” but don’t worry i won’t. i love you. i’ll fight. i’ll talk to them. he keeps repeating it like a lullaby. hope on loop.

she asks for one basic thing:
“when you talk to them about me, just tell me.”

one week later boom.
engagement pictures on instagram.
smiles. rituals. celebration.

and then comes the message that should be studied as a masterclass in emotional cowardice: “i tried but couldn’t convince them. goodbye.”

two years reduced to a failed negotiation.
no apology. no responsibility. just an exit.

but the audacity of this person?
he keeps texting her.
telling her he’s still in love with her.

engaged. publicly committed. still emotionally trespassing.

this isn’t confusion.
this is entitlement.

now zoom out everyone because this isn’t an isolated case anymore. it’s a pattern which is quite common & spreading like a wild fire

nowadays people (mostly men) are committing verbally while operating casually. they promise long-term futures while mentally planning short-term exits. because honesty doesn’t sell. saying “i want something casual” increases rejection. saying “i want to marry you” lowers defenses. so they lie. strategically.

men cry now. perform vulnerability. talk about trauma, destiny, forever not because they feel it, but because it works. once you let them in, once you drop your guard, once you rearrange your life, walking away becomes easy for them and catastrophic for you.

dating today feels like driving blindfolded while trusting directions from someone who already knows they’ll jump out midway.

so here’s the warning for everyone out there. nowadays words are cheap. access is expensive. if someone wants a future, they’ll risk something real for it whether it is reputation, comfort or conflict.

anything less is just manipulation with better dialogue.

ब्रोकरो का अलग नेक्सस है
10 हजार के फ्लैट में मनमाना ब्रोकरेज लेते हैं
मकान मालिक छात्रों से अतिरिक्त बिजली के नाम पे 10 से 15 रुपए प्रति यूनिट वसूली करते हैं।
फ्लैट या PG खाली करने के बाद सिक्योरिटी वापस ना करने के लिए हजारों केस हैं।

इन सब समस्याओं से अकेला बच्चा लड़ नहीं पाता तो वह शांति से सब सहता रहता है।
