I’m sharing my 24/7 journey on how to promote mobile Apps & Games and scaling traffic. 💻☕️

@arvidkahl Coding everything by hand today feels like writing in assembly 10 years ago. the bottleneck is no longer syntax, it's architecture and distribution.
Hardest pill to swallow with App Store Connect:
Getting thousands of impressions but having zero clue WHICH specific keyword actually drove the install 💀
Spent months ranking high for vanity terms that brought $0 in MRR.
How are you guys tracking actual keyword conversions? or is everyone just guessing at this point?
Appboost now lets you scale app rankings with keyword installs across multiple countries 🚀

– boost keyword rankings
– drive real downloads
– improve ASO performance
– test markets fast
– increase visibility
Lowkey OP for app growth.
Handling localization fields manually is a nightmare, so this looks like a great time-saver.
I’ve been tackling the other side of the equation: keyword discovery and tracking. Figuring out which terms actually drive revenue before even getting to the submission stage. ASO really requires both to work properly.
Writing SwiftUI is honestly the easy part ..
The actual nightmare is fighting for your life in that 100 characterr keyword field in App Store Connect
I just realized I’ve been wasting valuable space on plurals and the word "app" (which Apple apparently indexes automatically for English)
Curious how you guys are handling the ASO side? Are you actively tracking keyword ranks or just throwing words in there and hoping for the best? Because my organic traffic is humbling me right now lol
The hardest part about flutter isn't state management or UI.
It's pushing to both stores and realizing Google Play and App Store have entirely different ASO algorithms
Just spent a week rewriting my keywords because what ranked me on iOS got literally zero traction on Android.
Curious how you guys handle organic visibility for cross-platform apps? do you optimize for one store first?
@from_glasses@ericdjav Social spikes are awesome for the initial launch, but they fade fast. Nailing down your organic app store search is the real endgame for sustainable MRR. The intent there is just unmatched
@matthheos Conversion almost always comes down to the traffic source
If they found you through organic app store search, the intent is already sky high so they'll likely convert. Social traffic is more of a coin toss. Fingers crossed for the data
That dashboard is a rite of passage honestly
The tricky part is you can't really validate a paywall with only 4 users. You need top of funnel volume first. Getting your app store visibility dialed in is basically the only way to get enough eyeballs to see what actually converts. keep going
@AlexHormozi Literally 90% of app founders are permanently stuck on problem #1
They write perfect code but completely ignore app store search until it's too late. Cracking that organic visibility is the ultimate bottleneck man
@TheSoloCTO@StevenCravotta haha that tutorial analogy is painfully accurate
welcome to the boss fight man. if you ever need a cheat code to get through the keyword stuff just let me know
@levelsio Building a huge portfolio is the move but manually marketing 5 different apps at once is pure pain
getting your organic traffic and aso dialed in is basically the only way to scale multiple products without losing your mind
@hugo_chsd That 90/10 ratio is brutally accurate
most devs completely ignore app store search until its too late. getting your keywords dialed in is basically the only way to survive that distribution phase man
@TheSoloCTO@StevenCravotta Building is literally the easy part, distribution is where everyone hits a massive wall
figuring out your aso early is basically the only way out of that low download trench man
It blows my mind how many of us will spend weeks perfecting a 60fps Reanimated transition, but spend 5 minutes writing our app store keywords.
I used to be guilty of this. Been looking at a ton of search data for my app traffic tool recently, and the amount of beautiful React Native apps with zero organic visibility is insane.
Anyone else find the ASO and marketing side completely exhausting compared to just writing code?
@tibo_maker Love seeing "content distribution" sitting right at the top of the list. coding is getting so fast now, fighting for organic traffic is where the actual war is won. clean ui too man
Hard pill to swallow today: you can spend 6 months building a flawless app, but if your app store keywords are wrong, you are literally invisible.
Shifting all my focus to aso and organic distribution for my traffic tool this week. coding is the easy part, distribution is the real game.
Who else is currently stuck in the "great product, zero traffic" phase?
@Nathaniel1fs@marclou@trust_mrr 2k exit at 17 from pure organic tiktok is insane. you cracked the code. legit curious what kind of boat 2100 buys you though lol
