23andMe and Cleveland Clinic, a non-profit hospital system, both slip in forms that grant them rights to peddle your DNA.

Cleveland Clinic slips a Lifetime Consent form with a DNA clause if you pre-check for your appointment online.

If I sign this form, it gives CC the right to collect, store, retain, and maintain my DNA.
It gives them the right to share my DNA with any third party and obviously monetize it.

I don’t sign it, and when I go in person, the DNA clause mysteriously disappears. Staff at the hospital express disbelief when I tell them about the DNA clause that the e-sign version of the form has.

The medical industrial complex is out of control.
