Funny how people will passionately dissect a bad dance performance for days… but barely lift a finger to share something beautiful, disciplined or genuinely moving. Algorithms are learning from us. What we amplify becomes #culture.

"He Overdosed and Killed My Daughter"- Twisha Sharma's father, with folded hands, in tears, voice trembling asks why the M.P CM wont meet their family, fears that his daughter's in laws are too powerful for justice to ever be served. Her brother is a serving soldier in the Army, yet they had to run pillar to post to get an FIR done. Twisha was found hanging in their house, the husband is on the run- her last chats capture her pain- "Take Me Home, I am in Hell". Her father spoke of the deep regret they feel in not bringing her out of the abusive marriage sooner.
It is 2026 and even educated women like Twisha Sharma have to end their life because of Harassment, Abuse and Pressure. Let that sink in. Imagine the plight of underprivileged women.
And shame on f*cking every one who feels this bs society doesn’t need Feminism and stronger judicial protection for women
Indian cuisine conversations often revolve around Punjabi, South Indian or Bengali food. Odiya cuisine deserves a much bigger place on that table.
What struck me most was its restraint. No overload of cream, butter or chillies. Just balance, mustard, fermentation, texture and freshness.
Dahi Bara Aloo Dum (popular street food), Drumstick-Brinjal Besara, Chhena Tarkari, Chakuli Pitha (like dosa) Aloo Patra Besara… all made at home.
Three powerful people had to resign because of this man.
- The CM of Maharashtra
- Governor of Maharashtra
- The Vice Chancellor
Abhay Mokashi fearlessly published reports showing that the daughter of the then CM of Maharashtra had her postgraduate gynaecology exam grade changed from fail to pass.
His reporting exposed the scandal, which led to the resignation of the Governor (who was also the Chancellor of state universities) and the Vice Chancellor of Bombay University.
The CM resigned after the Bombay HC made strong remarks against him for fraud in the MD examinations to benefit his daughter and her friend.
He showed what real journalism can do. It has real power to shake a politician and bring them down in a single day.
This incident happened in 1986. Abhay Mokashi passed away on 2 May 2026.
One #KeralaStory from the recent election results that communalists should note: a Muslim majority constituency, Thavanur, elected a Christian, VS Joy; a Hindu majority constituency, Kalamassery, elected a Muslim. VE Abdul Gafoor; and a Christian majority constituency, Kochi, elected a Muslim, Muhammed Shiyas. Despite some influence from the national trends in favour of identity politics, Kerala remains a model of communal harmony, a state where people see human beings first and caste or religion later

Infidelity + ego + poetry = still garbage.A woman staying without options isn’t loyalty. And a man narrating it like a love story on a public podcast isn’t deep, just entitled & narcissistic exposing himself . Common enough story but let’s see it for its garbage. #PiyushMishra
Yes I oppose Bjp. I oppose it's communal divisive politics. I oppose it's politics of capturing institutions. I oppose it's politics of vigilantism.
But this deserves praise. Why not? Where were the other opp parties since last wk this news published? Kudos @PandaJay 👏🏾
People come to get an education to change their lives and the lives of their families. Sad to see a student dead under mysterious circumstances. A young life is nipped in the bud. A dreams died young. And dreams of the family dies with their child. It is a sad situation. The name of #KIIT as well as #Odisha is sullied. It is important that the Government of Odisha undertakes a thorough investigation and finds who is responsible. The very fact that after a demonstration by students earlier this year the problem continues tells us that probably our Govt. officials haven't taken this seriously. That is not #dharma.
🚨 UPDATE: Michelle Obama is being brutally mocked for LOSING IT and saying black people's curly is a pain to manage and makes it hard to swim. https://t.co/1vaJcEonor
"Let me explain something to white people. Our hair comes out CURLY. When we straighten it to follow YOUR beauty standards, we are TRAPPED by the straightness! That's why so many of us can't swim, won't go to the gym because we're trying to keep our hair straight for y'all!" 🤯
"It's exhausting, expensive and takes up so much time!!"
“Why do we need an act of law to tell White folks to get outta our hair?!"
Here is one woman essentially fighting every single person responsible for this medical mishap waiting to happen. She is fighting for every Indian who is unaware, who is unbothered, who is unaffected for now. And she’s been at it for 8 years. How devastating it must be. It makes me so angry that flouting health guidelines in India is so so easy with zero consequences. It should make you equally angry.
Akshaya, 34, passed away from a brain hemorrhage on 18 Sept.
In his LinkedIn post, her father shared how, at every step, the ambulance, the police, the crematorium, and even the BBMP office, officials shamelessly extorted bribes from him while he was mourning his only child, and that too for services that are simply their duty.
Sadly, this seems to be the standard practice everywhere.
Many doctors are asking Sridhar ji to delete his post. I am of the opinion all sides should be heard, even if the person does not have a medical background. Mere opinions should never be censored. People should be able to hear all PoVs on any subject.
But I DO NOT agree with @Svembu.
Now, I can go on and on about the filmsy, questionable study he has quoted. I can bore you talking about the science and many technical and medical things. It wouldn't matter much in the end for you.
So I am just going to keep this simple.
Let's just assume for the sake of this post that the study is showing some small but real causation risk of Autism due to vaccines (it is not).
Still, I am more than happy for my children to get, in a rare chance, Autism and may be become Elon Musk, or may be lose out in life, than them suffering from Polio.
I am more than happy for my grandchildren to acquire, by a small chance, Autism and may be become Magnus Carlson, or a may be loser in life, than them to get Tetanus and die just playing in the mud injuring their fingers.
Hope I am making some sense to parents out here.
Vaccines have saved and are saving thousands of lives. They really protect children from severe and life threatening diseases. They keep our societies safe from such diseases.
Don't become like some of those ignorant MAGA racist radicals and endanger your children or community by totally rejecting vaccines as some conspiracy. (Yeah, I am the one, your conspiracy theorist No. 1, saying this).
This is my informed view and advise on this. You can feel free to criticize me, reject me, call me some deep state vaccine agent, call @narendramodi ji also the same, and do what you want. Of course, it is your right.
But speaking of conspiracy, let me give you my hunch on what the DS wants to do.
DS saw how effective India's fight against Covid was using homegrown vaccines, and how it failed to break India during that time which it badly wanted to as planned.
So it is now planting FUD (fear, uncertanity, doubt) about both Indian vaccines and vaccines in general. Then when it brings the next pandemic, it will use your FUD on vaccines to ensure India is decimated without you taking the required vaccine.
I am definitely not suggesting Vembu ji is doing some DS propaganda here. He has his own concerns about vaccines, and he's also talking about "too many vaccines" (like they do in western countries to fight seasonal flu etc due to big pharma profits).
So take him and me both the right way and make up your mind. And I will appreciate if you walk the moderate way thinking for yourself.
Vaccines save lives.
The most horrific account of sexual violence and abuse has emerged from Satara in Maharashtra where a 26 year old female doctor who worked in a government hospital has died by suicide - leaving a short hand written note on the palm of her hand and a longer four page letter - detailing how Sub Inspector Gopal Badne raped her four times. In more shocking details that are now emerging, the hand written letter accessed by @themojostory also points a finger at a Member of Parliament who she alleges pressured her through his two personal assistants. The entire tussle, her note says, was over her being asked to issue fake fitness certificates in police cases. Her abuse and harassment, she writes, began, when she declined to do so. Recounting a specific incident she says two assistants to an MP walked into the hospital where she worked and asked for such fake fitness certificates. When she resisted, the men made her speak to the MP who pressured her to do what they demanded . Her family says she made several complaints to senior officers of the police in writing but no action was taken. Absolutely horrific abuse of power that took the life of a young woman. When will our women have a safe working environment? Every such horror account will discourage women from entering or staying in the work force apart from of course the gigantic tragedy of a life lost
