Since October 2023, IOMJordan has been supporting essential relief efforts in #Gaza, working with partners to provide life-saving aid. An immediate ceasefire is urgently needed to ensure the safety and well-being of civilians and the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
Following the latest shipwreck in the English Channel, 2024 is now the deadliest year on record for this route, with 50 migrant deaths.
As these tragedies grow alarmingly frequent, saving lives and addressing the root causes of migration must be urgent priorities.
