@mcuban Agree- The HD in the HDHP/HSA was that consumers might question how much a service costs and shop. Didn't happen. Try this.. Next time you need care, ask how much your visit costs w/ and w/o insurance. You will most likely be met with a quizzical look that requires escalation.

@realdocspeaks No disagreement there for low cost RXs. HSA plans pre-deductable were supposed to help the consumer shop around, but didn't. I would expand a price list to include the prices for cash/Medicare/ACA compliant plans. Perfect world... the latter two would also be identical / unneeded
