When Will Sanjiv Bhatt Get Justice?

This is one of the saddest chapters of our history. An honest, brave and dedicated IPS officer, Sanjiv Bhatt, has been in jail for more than nine years.

He became a symbol of courage because he stood by his principles and spoke against injustice. Many IPS officers have come and gone, but Sanjiv Bhatt is still remembered for his courage and his fight for truth.

Whether one agrees with him or not, every person deserves a fair and just legal process. His case should not be forgotten.

It is time for justice-loving people and the Gen Z generation to raise this issue, ask questions and demand justice through peaceful and democratic means.

We salute Sanjiv Bhatt for his courage and pray for his safety, justice and early release.

Today, one of my colleagues received a call claiming to be from @IDFCFIRSTBank , asking him to share my number because I allegedly have a personal loan due. I have never taken a personal loan from @IDFCFIRSTBank , nor do I have any loan with the bank.

One question remains: How did people I had contacted personally yesterday and today receive these calls? How were their numbers obtained? I request @RBI and @FinMinIndia to seek an explanation from IDFC FIRST Bank and ensure citizens’ privacy is protected.

I am not an IDFC FIRST Bank customer, but I am an IDFC FIRST Bank shareholder. As a shareholder, I expect better governance and accountability. I seek a formal explanation, an investigation, and corrective action to prevent such incidents.
