Today, November 22nd, is Saleh Aljafarawi’s birthday, where he should be turning 28 years old. The day he was murdered was a collective heartbreak that shook everyone with a conscience and a heart, in and outside of Gaza. It still does not feel real. He was killed during the supposed ceasefire after he starved with his people and reported on limbless and bloody dead children, night and day, for two years. He ran towards airstrikes. He ran towards blood. He ran towards fire just to show us the truth, for the love of his people and his homeland.

The world came to know and love Saleh through his activism, his voice, his journalism, and his extraordinary courage, and for many, our introduction to him came during the genocide. But Saleh was more than just a journalist. He was a dreamer.

Today, with the permission and blessings of Sale’s family, we will officially drop the Aljafarawi Club Collection. 100% of profits will be donated to food and water aid in Gaza in honor of Saleh.
