Bayern have been selling shares in their club for over 25 years, while Perez wants badly to sell around 10% of Real Madrid after taking on major financing loans to complete the stadium project.

Yet you rarely hear people constantly screaming that Bayern or Madrid are in a “financial crisis.” That narrative seems to be reserved almost exclusively for Barcelona.

And part of the blame falls on Barça fans themselves. Instead of constantly complaining about our own finances and feeding the narrative, maybe start paying attention to what other clubs are doing financially too.

The best example is Premier League fans mocking Barça because transfer fees are paid in instalments over several years. 😂 That’s literally how football transfers normally work. Almost every major club in Europe structures payments over 3, 4 or even 5 years unless there are paying a buyout clause where no club to club negotiations are required.

Barça fans seriously need to wake up. Stop acting like every normal financial practice is some uniquely Barcelona problem while ignoring what happens everywhere else.
