🚨 TINY DOSES OF A PSYCHEDELIC COMPOUND JUST SHOWED A STRANGE EFFECT ON OBESITY

What if a substance known for changing the mind could also change the way the body handles fat and sugar?

A 2026 study found that very low, non-psychedelic doses of psilocybin improved obesity, insulin resistance, blood sugar control, and fatty liver disease in mice fed a diet that caused metabolic disease. Researchers believe the effect may involve serotonin signaling in the liver.

The surprising part? The doses were low enough that the animals did not show psychedelic effects.

But there’s an important catch: this was an animal study, not a human clinical trial. Scientists have not yet shown that microdoses of psilocybin can reverse obesity, diabetes, or fatty liver disease in people.
Still, the discovery opens an unexpected new door in metabolic research.
