Here is the thing about empire that its citizens never understand until it is too late:

Empire does not only happen over there.

Empire is a political economy. It has a domestic structure. It makes choices about who bears the cost and who receives the benefit, and those choices are made along the same lines of power at home as abroad.

The foreign poor are sacrificed for strategic resources.

The domestic poor are sacrificed for the same system's smooth operation at home.

The drone strike and the defunded school are not different in kind.

They are different in geography.

They are both answers to the same question:

What is expendable in the service of keeping the arrangement intact?

So when Americans say they are losing their country, they are right that something is being lost.

But it was not taken by the immigrant or the minority or the foreign ideology.

It was lost in the same transaction in which Vietnam was bombed, and Chile was coup'd, and Haiti was strangled, and Iraq was invaded, and Libya was destroyed, and a thousand other decisions were made by people who calculated that the cost was acceptable.

The cost was acceptable because it was paid by someone else.

You were someone else once too.

You just didn't know it yet.

You are finding out now.

And the people who made the calculation are watching, from their safe distance, with the same detachment they always had.

The same detachment they taught you to have about everyone else.

Now it is your turn to be the statistic.

Now it is your turn to be the context.

Now it is your turn to be the thirty seconds of sad music before the camera cuts to someone more important.

And the political debate about the military budget in Washington is about whether to increase it by 3% or 7%.

The people who scream about welfare fraud, about the single mother receiving food stamps, about the disability claimant who might be exaggerating, those people vote every year to increase the budget of an institution that has literally never been able to tell the public where the money goes.

Because the military is not an institution that can be questioned.

It is where American shame goes to be laundered into pride.

Every dollar that disappears into that budget comes out the other side as a flyover, a ribbon, a "thank you for your service."

You cannot audit a religion.

Strategische Geduld statt emotionaler Unmittelbarkeit

Emotionalismus als Falle, die dem Empire dient

Opposition ist notwendig, aber nicht hinreichend

Der wirkungsvolle Widerstand besteht nicht in maximaler moralischer und emotionaler Intensität, sondern in der geduldigen, disziplinierten Konstruktion realer Alternativen. Wer nur den Zorn pflegt und jeden Pragmatismus als Verrat brandmarkt, liefert dem Empire unfreiwillig einen Dienst.

Und ich denke, wir stoßen hier auf ein kulturelles Problem.

Die westliche Kultur will schnelle Gewinne, schnelle Lieferung, alles muss augenblicklich geschehen.

Das ist unnatürlich und eher Problem als Lösung.

Die schnellste Lösung ein Spiel zu gewinnen ist der Betrug.

Viele haben verlernt was Erfolg wirklich ist und scheuen den Vergleich durch Vermeidung.

Nur permanente Zusammenarbeit lässt Dinge erstehen.

Widerstand ist kein One Night Stand, kein Sex mit Verhütung.

Man muss sich schon auf andere Menschen einlassen, wenn man etwas erreichen möchte. Und Dinge brauchen Zeit, insbesondere wenn man nebenbei noch Arbeiten muss.

Dann wird es zur echten Wahl:
Netflix oder Widerstand,
Stadion oder Widerstand,
Beauty Salon oder Widerstand.

Ausnahmen, nicht die Regel.

Wer dreimal im Leben auf eine Demo geht, beruhigt sein Gewissen, mehr nicht.

Das Leben besteht nicht daraus, sich mit einem Schild und Trillerpfeife zu zeigen.

Wie du deine Zeit verbringst,
wie du dich entscheidest,
jede Minute deines Lebens,
erzeugt letztendlich deine Identität.

Der harte, unromantische Kern:
Widerstand ist keine Geste und kein emotionaler Rausch.

Er ist eine dauerhafte Beziehung - zu Ideen, zu anderen Menschen, zu einem Ziel, das größer ist als die eigene momentane Erregung. Man kann ihn nicht „mal eben“ machen und dann wieder zum normalen Leben zurückkehren, als wäre nichts gewesen.

Wer das versucht, betreibt bestenfalls moralischen Tourismus.

Sony hat recht:

Die Bewegungen, die nur gegen etwas waren und nie gelernt haben, mit anderen und über Zeit etwas aufzubauen, sind entweder verglüht oder vereinnahmt worden. Weil sie den Charakter des Widerstands verkannt haben. Er ist keine Affäre. Er ist eine Ehe - mit allem, was das an Treue, Geduld und alltäglicher Arbeit bedeutet.

Das ist die unbequeme Wahrheit.

Widerstand ist kein Heldentum,
er wird im Westen massiv bekämpft,
und oft schon im Keim erstickt.

Nicht immer mit offener Gewalt, sondern mit Isolation, Diffamierung, finanzieller Austrocknung, medialer Pathologisierung und dem ständigen Angebot, doch lieber in den komfortablen Konsens zurückzukehren.

Wiederstand ist per Definition ein asymmetrischer Kampf.

Wenn du nicht verlieren kannst und aus Niederlagen lernst, bist du ungeeignet.

Und deshalb gibt es kaum noch echten Widerstand, weil er echte Konsequenzen hat.

Die weiße Rose aus dem 2. Weltkrieg ist ein Mahnmal, ein Teil deutscher Erinnerungskultur.

Aber sind wir ehrlich, dient sie der Abschreckung.

What actually happened in Ukraine is a case study in imperial overreach producing the opposite of the intended strategic result.

The intent, as stated by American officials including Victoria Nuland and NATO Secretary General after NATO Secretary General, was to weaken Russia, to impose costs so severe that the Russian military and economic system would be degraded to the point of strategic irrelevance.

What actually happened:

Russia's defense industry has expanded and is now producing more artillery shells per month than the entire NATO alliance combined.

Russia's GDP grew in 2023, 2024 and 2025 despite the most comprehensive sanctions regime ever imposed on a major economy.

The ruble survived the sanction shock.

China-Russia trade reached record levels.

India maintained its strategic relationship with Russia regardless of Western pressure.

The Global South, watching the West demand sanctions compliance from countries that were not party to the conflict, concluded that the rules-based international order meant: comply with American preferences or face consequences.

Many of them decided that conclusion was clarifying.

The war that was supposed to isolate Russia has instead demonstrated the limits of American economic coercion and accelerated the construction of the very alternative financial architecture that makes future sanctions less effective.

If this is imperial escalation working, the empire should be terrified of what failure looks like.

This is what happens when you lose.

Israel demanded we fight them our government who is owned by Israel try to fight them. We used every trick we had in the book and nothing worked.

We made things objectively worse than what they were. And as such now we have to pay for it. We have to pay for it with American lives we have to pay for it with American tax dollars. And we have to pay for it with a loss of credibility that we will never get back. The world knows we are a paper tiger now. That the age of American military superiority is over. Russia and China have the technology to match and beat our shit. It's just that simple.

We spent all of our time and money doing gay ops for Israel going against little tribal States and Nations who had no chance of fighting against us that when it came down to going against an actual world power backed by other world powers we caught our shit fucking wrecked.

Oh you can pretend that we had laundry fires and training accidents all you fucking want but the world knows what's the truth even if you don't want to hear it.

So now we got to take this bloody nose and have our leadership just constantly screaming like a petulant child that he didn't lose he really won.

God it is such a fucking embarrassment.
