A 2-day symposium will be held 3/18 & 3/19 honoring Distinguished Prof Krishnan Raghavachari at the ACS meeting. He is the 2024 winner of the ACS Award for Computers in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Research. The symposium will in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
@CovalentMod@D_B_McConnell Also, even if one deletes the warhead, the binding modes stay mostly similar. For example, in these BTK inhibitors (light green is covalent inhibitor and deep greens are non-covalent inhibitors).
@CovalentMod@D_B_McConnell That’s true. I don’t think we can determine a crystal structure of a covalent ligand at the non-covalent state unless we delete the warhead and make it a non-covalent ligand.
It is nice to see that this review article (https://t.co/Qf13YnQbdx) validates our analysis back in 2018 where we validated the concept that "the best place to look for a new drug is at an old one". #chemtwitter@JanssenUS Here is the 2018 paper link:

We are looking for two motivated phd students to join our group @GSUChemistry in the Fall 2023. Students in my group will work on mechanistic understanding of nanoplastic interaction on bio membranes, proteins, and biomolecules.
I am hiring two postdocs in quantum dynamics and ultrafast spectroscopy of complex condensed phases in my group at NYU Shanghai. Developed methods will be applied to understand charge and energy transfer in solar cell energy materials. See https://t.co/GstKauVrro Please RT!
