@EM203geddlesto Grace, are you familiar with the concern of misinformation online? I’ve learned a lot about this from my groups concept map. Misinformation can lead to mass hysteria, health risks and trust issues with the media. Do your best to keep yourself informed!
@EM203ConorJ Hey Conor, I’ve learned that misinformation on social media is very concerning as it can lead to mass hysteria/fear, potential health risks, and an overall misinformed population. This is an interesting topic, do your best to stay informed online!
Something I’ve learned from concept maps this week is how social media may lead to misinformation. This is usually caused by lack of fat checking, algorithm bias and speed sharing. It can lead to public hysteria and political polarization, affecting almost everyone in the world.
@EM203SamBurke Sam, the lessons I've already learned in this course so far have been great. I am as excited as you are for what's coming in this course!
@EM203geddlesto Grace, it has been a fulfilling experience to step outside my comfort zone as well. Collaboration is key! And I cannot wait to keep collaborating.
I have enjoyed EM203 thus far, as well as my findings so far of: how complex learning is in a digital age, how the digital age promotes a multitasking environment, and how valuable digital literacy is in todays world. #EM203Robin
