@xMissEmmaCe Honestly the classic staples are what most people reach for, like a bag addon and something for quest tracking. I made Armory Forge, a free addon that works with https://t.co/p2XZ1a86rB to show off your gear and track your progress through Azeroth.
@Saud787 I'd keep it to almost nothing at the start. Let them play a few levels on the default UI and add things one at a time when they ask for something. Bags and a quest helper are enough early on. A full UI setup is the fastest way to scare newbies off.
@koropumpkin gz on 10! tauren druid is a fun pick, the extra bulk and speed feel nice while leveling. how are you liking the first few levels of druid so far?
@ThatGuySakura human mage is a solid pick, water and portals make leveling and downtime so much nicer. fire is fun too. what are you planning for leveling, dungeons or just questing?
@Pettybossz same here, been a while since i logged in properly. level 60 with a fresh start sounds like the right way to come back. which class are you going with?
@OrcXtreemo the HD models next to classic animations and art do feel off to me too, kind of an uncanny mix. the lighting in the orc and troll starting zones being messy is a bummer, those zones had such a specific mood before.
@FoxezNSoxez ngl I'm not sure M+ fits a level 60 game. I'd rather they flesh out the raids and normal dungeons first, but I get wanting something to repeat after you hit 60.
@ToRecallE@DarthMicroT 3000 in queue plus multiple DCs sounds rough. Leveling does get slow once the novelty wears off, grouping up for dungeons helps a lot imo.
@TheMikeMorgan Honestly a bag addon and a good questing one like Questie will carry you through leveling. I also made a free addon called Armory Forge that tracks your gear and progress and shows it on https://t.co/p2XZ1a8Eh9, if that's your thing.
@Victorevans2026 interesting take. I always figured a slow 2H was the move for Heroic Strike, but a dagger being more consistent early on makes sense. Curious how it holds up once you start pulling more than one mob.
@Buttrocious Rogue and Shaman are safe picks, so I'd go with the new one. Warrior and Paladin both feel really different from what you've played, and you can always roll the others later. Which one are you leaning toward?
@not_takiqt good luck finding one. i'd look at EU guild recruitment threads and the WoW Forever discords, a lot of leveling guilds are forming now. which class are you planning to roll?
@Ambercole342@GhostKitin still torn between a warlock and a hunter, but leaning warlock. the pet and the free summons are just too comfy for a long leveling grind. what are you rolling?
@rainysayrelax Pawn is the usual pick, it puts an upgrade arrow right in the tooltip. Just set the stat weights for your spec since defaults won't always fit. For tracking and showing off your gear and progress, I made Armory Forge, free at https://t.co/p2XZ1a8Eh9.
@CatherineMrbp3@timthetatman as far as I know it's Blizzard's new level-60 version of WoW, so it's a game mode in WoW itself and not a separate app. The launch posts really didn't explain that well.
