I'm back on X, so let me introduce myself again:
2019: got into Oxford + passed the French bar exam - realized I'm not built for this path.
2020: COVID hit. Built a SEO dropshipping store in 3 weeks, made my first $600 online that same month.
2021: turned down $120,000 salary + $20k bonus as 1st job ever to survive on $575/month.
Everyone called me crazy.
I just saw a kid chasing his startup dream.
Shipped 3 projects with my co-founder.
Total revenue: $40.
2022: 4th bootstrapped project hits $2K MRR in 2 months thanks to X.
2023: after 3 pivots, we launch Breakcold CRM.
2024: stuck at $5K MRR. We refuse to quit, start to grow in April.
2025: hire 5 people, scale back to 2, reached $25K MRR. Plateau again.
Two $50M+ ARR companies reach out. We're tempted to sell.
2026: we rebuild from scratch with our learnings and launch Breakcold V2.
I'm not satisfied with what we achieved, I consider myself a loser.
But I also feel lucky as hell for the lifestyle and freedom I've attained.
Let's see what's next 🤞
My evolution in this game is hard to compare.
A few years ago, I was literally taking sales calls for 10 hours per day as a closer.
Today, my company is on the cusp of hitting an 8 figure run rate.
Claude can now find and contact your highest-intent prospects.
Introducing Gojiberry’s self-improving prospecting brain.
It detects buying signals and learns from every reply and booked meeting.
Your outbound now improves itself.
Bazzly quietely started welcoming new users (1) and raised prices from $99/mo to $249/mo.
It went from $9K/MRR to $17K/mo in less than 1 week.
I've been paying for 4+ months now, good stuff.

So is this a $127M pivot?
We had customers churning from Lightfield to https://t.co/9d8pjbWo0Z
Last year, Tome, an AI presentation builder that had reached 25 million users and raised $80 million became Lightfield.
The pivot involved reducing headcount from 70 to 7 employees before rebuilding to the current 40-person team.
At 20, I was obsessed with one thing: getting into the best law firm in the world.
I became the first French guy to study M&A Tax at Oxford.
Won a €15,000 scholarship. First prize.
I was hungry, I come from a €12,000/year household with 0 people that studied or built businesses.
While my friends partied, I worked every single weekend. On top of internships that ran 9am to 11pm, five days a week.
I told myself the sacrifice was the price of the dream.
Then at 25, I woke up inside that dream.
Biggest law firm. Six-figure starting salary. Bonuses on top.
I ACTUALLY DID IT.
Everything 20-year-old me would have killed for.
And I felt nothing.
Because I looked up at the partners above me, the people I was supposed to spend the next 7 to 15 years becoming, and I realized I didn’t want their life.
While everyone around me wanted to become a Law Firm partner…
I wanted to become the Client.
I wanted time for my girlfriend (now fiancée).
I wanted to work from anywhere, travel countless countries without asking anyone for permission.
I wanted a life, not a title.
So at 26, I did the thing everyone said was insane.
I quit. Started over. Zero experience in SaaS. Zero experience in sales. Zero network.
Fast forward to today:
→ I live entirely from the business I built which is https://t.co/tadWTB9GKx
→ My fiancée is an entrepreneur too, she’s absolutely killing it and will probably retire us, before I do it haha
→ We’re leaving for 3 weeks in Japan end of September, and the business keeps running while I'm gone.
→ Bootstrapped. Growing. Profitable.
Sometimes at 30 I feel old.
Then I remember: 30 is stupidly young to already know exactly what you want out of life.
The degrees, the firm, the years I thought I “wasted” leaving, none of it was wasted.
Experience doesn’t disappear when you change paths.
It compounds.
If you’re sitting inside someone else’s dream right now, wondering if it’s too late to build your own, it isn’t.
You’re earlier than you think.
Tibo turned his $8M exit into a full startup studio.
It's like Thibaud Elziere back in the days but bootstrapped startups only.
$1,000,000+ MRR & counting across his portfolio.
He's on a great run.
PS: if you're not named Tibault or Tibauld it doesn't work, agree @tibo_maker?
Squad could be my first BILLION dollar product
the launch went well, revenue has spiked to $8k MRR
it's really the most ambitious product I've ever worked on
because it's incredibly useful:
- it has everything Grok Bot does
- on top, you run it on any model you want
- and on your squad's own cloud computer
what's not there yet is a story simple enough to explain all this
I also feel the product is best suited for established companies and teams that already make money
the further you are in your business, the more obvious Squad becomes
a great problem to solve for us as indie makers, in an extremely crowded market, and going against one of the biggest AI labs in the world 🙌
@franksondors August vs September mainly is my guess
We haven't done anything in particular.
Some customers getting annual plans to start the season
We'll also soon increase prices, but I expect the sales to be today and the week that arrives
