We spend so much time asking AI to make things for us that we forget how much fun it is to make things ourselves.
Today, we played a round of drawing telephone at @headout.
These were some descriptions we took. A witch riding a scooter. A frog playing an electric guitar. One person writes, the next draws, the next guesses, and the whole thing gets passed around with every previous step hidden.
By the end, the original idea is almost unrecognisable. 😂
No AI. No prompts engineered to perfection. Just paper, pens, questionable drawing skills, wild interpretations, and a room full of people laughing together.
A reminder that creativity isn’t always about making something brilliant. Sometimes, it’s just about making something ridiculous together.
Sharing some of the final masterpieces below. 😂👇
Please write up a brief handoff document describing everything we've tried and what we are attempting to achieve so I can pass it along to another agent
Uhmmm yes, we spent time thinking about what should happen when you hover over a tiny globe.
It spins. It turns into chat bubble. And it gives you a peek at most of the languages @headout speaks.
Completely necessary? Debatable. Delightful? We think so. Try it on https://t.co/2LfqnA7slM
@KarthigSaravan8 is on a roll! ⚡️
The smallest details can tell the biggest stories. ✨
We turned a simple hover on the @headout logo into a tiny discovery moment, revealing a new experience every time, three times over.
A teeny tiny bit of magic hidden in the footer.
All props to @KarthigSaravan8 🎉
2025 me: hands it off.
2026 me: gets it merged.
Wrote about my first 90 days at @headout, finding out how far that line actually moves:

Hackin', our annual internal AI hackathon at @Headout, turned the company into a collection of founders for 42 hours. 🚀
Read on to see how we organised it, what happened when nearly 1 in 3 Headouters started building, and the products they shipped along the way. 🧵
Few weeks ago, we asked a room full of designers a slightly uncomfortable question at @headout:
“If AI can design, what should you do?”
What followed wasn’t a panel of hot takes or a parade of AI demos.
Just honest conversations.
The stuff we don’t usually put on slides.
The doubts, the shifts, the opportunities, the things we’re getting wrong, and the things we’re excited about.
A packed room, great questions, lots of laughs, and way too many conversations that continued long after the session ended.
Here’s a glimpse of how it went. 🎥
If you were there, tell us your biggest takeaway.
If you missed it, we’ll see you at the next one.

I’m on the hunt for an amazing Brand design intern for our team at @headout.
Every now and then I come across a student or intern whose portfolio makes me think, “They’re going to do great things.”
If someone comes to mind, tag them below. If it’s you, share your portfolio in the replies. I’ll personally go through them.
