Kudos are in order for @CARNDARAK , who has just become the first Martyr of the First Edict, forever immortalizing their name on the Solo Self-Found ladder!

There are still so many secrets waiting to be discovered in Return of the Ancients!
@WithNightDanger@hexcrawl For the (A,B) entry of the matrix, it answers "does A connect to B?" It can be used to map physical spaces as well as conceptual spaces.
The matrix form is superior to the graph because it can be easily updated, can handle many abstractions etc.
God does not want you stupid. he does not want one smart man in every country and thousands of idiots following him like sheep. he does not want you to say words you don't understand, and he is not flattered by your obedience. he wants you to go find out for yourself and come back with something real
Decided to make an attempt at a creating a collaborative substack that is an extension of the #FrenlyClubhouse. The limited space of twitter is often too small for these kinds of things, unless you shell out money. So check out my blog post 😀
@movieguyjon Most players don't know how to affect anything beyond what has been detailed within their character's sheet.
Hell, most players are stuck asking for permission to create characters that don't fit the setting because they refuse to blend in and must outshine through their sheet.

The most frightening person i ever witnessed was a man who only wanted one thing. everybody around him had a hundred plans, a hundred projects they were going to start next month, and he had one, just one. and he never talked about it much, and that was the part that unnerved you, because when someone talks a lot about what they want, you can relax. talking is letting the pressure out, so it's harmless. but he was airtight.
Everything in him was moving toward one point, in silence. within a few years he was in a place no one else could reach, and everybody who had watched him stood there scattered and confused, with their mouths full of plans that never solidified into anything. i learned from watching him that the mouth is a leak. every time you say what you are going to do, you lose a piece of the will that would have done it
One group of critics of the BrOSR that I think is the most out of touch is the group that says “I don’t understand your problem with the game, I’ve never experienced any issues that you say your playstyle fixes, and others don’t struggle with this either.”
@Bdubs1776@ThalassiosX2@RuleOfThule In my T3 Braunstein I let players talk w/out my mediation & w/out account-level anonymity + play multiple unrelated chars&roles; many players changed their behavior once they figured a seemingly ally was also playing a neutral/enemy. I was not blessed with #EliteLevel players.
@ThalassiosX2@Bdubs1776@RuleOfThule EVE already comes with 1:1, roles & fog of war. 1) Anonymity gives freedom to take on any role, making 2) asymmetric victory conditions more approachable, and 3) market/logistics give the material world a hard surface for players to mess with (pvp ambush, counterfeit, heists).
