@goalfarabee86@justingiam It’s not controversial at all. When they regress and miss the playoffs the next two years, you’re going to look like a genius
Flyers are the worst at contract extensions. They just really don’t understand how to build a long term sustainable roster. They panic year to year and often fall victim to one year wonders. I expect this to be no different.
@SuitableAlias It’s virtue signaling to organizations that they’re willing to carry the company water at all costs for a media or team job. Colby Cohen does the same thing…
By the way, we keep having Steve Peters on to do his shtick.
This guy was 100% convinced Zegras wasn't even an NHL player, or rather, so lacking of "details" that his skill didn't matter and thus... wasn't an NHL player.
How'd that work out?
He was so sure.
Can’t stop rewatching this. Actually in disbelief at how stupid this take is.
If fan sentiment about one of the franchise’s key rebuild prospects will drive his teammates to hate him, uh, I don’t think that’s the fans’ fault.
Charlie’s brain has been broken by Twitter.
@DanTheFlyeraFan The fact that this loser mentality franchise is pushing this narrative by using beatwriters as pawns is sad. Guess what, if the flyers don’t maximize Michkovs talent, this rebuild will fail miserably
“Flyers fans shouldn’t verbalize their support for Matvei Michkov online because it makes his teammates angry and hurts their feelings” is hands down one of the most deranged things I’ve ever heard.
What is the boner with calling Michkov bad after a down season where, mind you, he had just as many points as Tippett who people say should be untouchable and did it with less playtime.
An ESPN article titled “Which under-25 NHL players need a change-of-scenery trade?” with Michkov as the cover photo?
It’s over.
The Matvei Michkov era in Philadelphia lasted all of 2 seasons.
It’s actually over.
Rick Tocchet did this. Rick Tocchet only.
@Brodes81@SportsRadioWIP@AfternoonsWIP What if the star free agents or trade pieces don’t want to come here and our only option is michkov? Brodes is right, it’s not close. This isn’t the pre cap era of hockey.
