I was targeted with bikini images..started yday, i panicked and deactivated..from an alt account, asked the person to take it down but he refused..instead, more vulgar images mostly app generated this time started flooding my alt from different handles..
Informed bhai (didnt have the courage to tell my parents) and went to the police station..was asked to file a cyber crime complaint..complaint has been accepted and forwarded to my area police station in Bangalore for further action and I have been asked to come in once i am there..
The initiator is still active and the person looks like a serial offender..I want to pursue this legally but I am also aware of the emotional and practical hassle of dealing with the police..
What angers me the most is that I dont even post photos, just occasional DPs yet this is the price of trying to exist online with dignity as a woman..

Rajdeep has raised a very important point. Supreme Court has treated Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam on a "different footing" than others, then why were all treated on a similar footing for the last 5 years and were repeatedly denied bail?

What kind of a judgement is this! You grant bail to 5 people and deny bail to 2 others in the same case when there are same kind of allegations! All should have been granted bail. But they want to make an example out of Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam.
